CD-ROM v2​
FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY POCKET [GT-S5300]​


List of Features​

The usual..

-pre rooted
-pre deodexed
-modified apps duh :p
-ui is combination of gingerbread, ics and jellybean..
-removed some bloatwares
-custom bootanimation--made by me :)
-ui sounds modified

#others
-6lockscreens
-15 toggles
-swipe to remove notiff
-xloud
-bravia engine
-sound mod is combination of beats srs alsa and dolby mobile :)
---the sound is awesome hear it yourself to find out..


#modified mms
-mms with enabled skins
-modified some other stuff here like when
the message will become multi media message..
-and number of contacts that you can send
message at a time..
-etc..

#extended power menu
-with screenshot option and hot reboot

#remapped buttons..
tired of turning on the screen to skip a song?
well with cd rom you can just use the volume buttons :)
-----but how do you change the volume? -well just turn
the screen on then use the volume buttons now
volume will change..

#remapped camera app buttons
-u can use power button to take a picture..
--power menu will still appear:p

#built in Chainfire3d
--plugins are included also

#seeder
-for reduced lag..

#twwallpaper chooser
-added some new wallpapers there..

#file explorer is mi file explorer
#music player is miui music player

#Adrenaline Engine..
#vm00 1.10kernel.. an really awesome kernel!
--but you can add any kernel you want just drag it
in the zip package and replace the boot.img

Install Instructions​
please readcarefully​

  1. If your currenty using a custom rom before installing this rom I suggest that you flash the stock rom using "Odin" or restore your nandroid backup..oh use xxlf5 fimware for this..
  2. Do a full wipe.. wipe data.. wipe cache.. wipe dalvik cache.. you know these..
  3. now you should use CWM to flash it .. i suggest you use vm00's heres the link to his thread.. i hope you know how to install zip using CWM.. hehe
  4. Wait for it to finish installation.. then reboot.."first boot may take up to 10mins so just wait :)"
  5. And thats it! Enjoy your experience with CD-ROM! :D

known bugs..
  • on the power menu.. reboot to download mode dosnt work.. it will only reboot.. and reboot option there also dosnt work for now it will only shut the phone off but not fully shut down..
  • thats it.. :p only that is known bug..
  • So just use the download option there to reboot :p whats important is hot reboot works..hehe
  • One last thing incase your status bar gets stuck.. just open settings then choose rom mods tab.. then choose dev tools.. then click on media scanner.. thats it

Note:You can just open the updates zip then copy the files in there to the rom's zip package just be sure you paste them on the right place... for example you will copy phone.apk from my update zip.. then paste it on the folder where you got it on phone.apk's case its /system/app/... i hope you get the point.. im telling you this so that you will just install 1 zip.hehe.but its up to you..​

Tried the Arabic support update but it didn't work
Any idea to solve the scrambled Arabic letters will be great

Hi. Dont work for me.

Block in boot. Black screen for 30 minutes.

Try 2 install. Always same and yes for future question i have wipe all that can done. Battery wipe too ;)

Any ideas?
