Couldn't one just simply download the stock ROM, copy the build prop and init.d files and replace them on every ROM they decide to flash for their own comparison purposes instead of Agat changing his methods?
I have experimented with removing and replacing files in the init.d folder from one ROM that performed well to another ROM to bring it up to what I like to see. It really isn't a difficult thing to do. I'm sure some tweaks from one script were already doing what part of the new script.I introduced myself was doing. But I have been pleasantly supposed with some changes I was able to do myself. (for instance exactly what JohnCorleone's earlier example was).
EDIT: on another note, part of the "tweaking" that each developer does is removing bloat from the stock ROM. Not every developer removes the same apks either. I personally wouldn't want to flash a stock ROM from a custom developer with stock build prop, init.d files, and especially bloat. Another part being the theme. Some themes trend to be a little easier on the battery than others.. And I definitely don't like the stock theme at all. It isn't easy on the eyes at all!
I could be way out in left field with this whole post, but went there anyway.. Lol. I'm assuming that what is being suggested would also push each developer to remove the same bloat, use the same theme and add no new sweet apks we have been seeing. This is all just my own option from where I see it from (in left field.. Lol)
