Cool, works now. Got my navbar back! Still I don't understand the advantage of "hiding" the bar in power menu ...

its actually a pretty neat feature if you ask me.
hiding the navbar is awesome for watching movies, reading comics, writing notes etc. basically everything fullscreen. you gain an extra few pixels and especially movies don't have to get cropped and now fill the whole screen.
plus some apps haven't implemented the ICS feature of dimming the navbar thus being very distracting.
if this stuff doesn't bother you i guess its useless but i have been wanting this ability ever since i moved on from honeycomb ;)

hmm...fresh install and still getting "system ui...." msg. anyone know how to fix this.

If you are having issues with your NavBar FC'ing in particular with apps that require a menu button (ie, older legacy apps that don't use the 'ActionBar'), please go into ROMControl - > Navigation Bar - > and add a button and/or reassign one of your buttons to be a 'Menu' button.

b33 is pretty stable for me. the systemUI crashes are very seldom.
i think before b34 there will be a milestone release, at least thats the word over at aokp.
so expect the next version to be pretty stable overall.

Is there a way to install all at one the backed up apps using titanium? Instead of installing them one by one?

yes titanium has batch restore. might be "pro" version only though.
pro version can even restore all apps from a nandroid. really handy!

nice. a milestone would at lease feel more stable. i really miss my aokp installation but i'm still gonna wait for the souped milestone for 3g.
the only thing that bugged me about aokp was that navbar highlights (is that what it was called?!) seemed a little not justified. maybe they were a little bigger than they were supposed to be. as they are totally fine in cm9.

also why doesn't any one optimize the messaging app for tablets? the separated conversation list and conversation screen look really ridiculous.
aren't there any other mms apps from other 3g tablets we can port to our roms?!

I hate this browser freeze problem. Tried with several browsers, same issue. It's that damn Flash. Uninstalling it, fixes the freeze, but then, webpages with flash won't work. Tried B29, same problem.

and still no update for 3g from galaxian soup.
    oh man...

i'm pretty sure most of the devs have a real life, job & better things to do than build roms for each release...
be patient. its free! if you don't like it figure out how to build and compile the rom yourself.
sorry if i sound kinda mean but people complaining about devs not releasing stuff, when the devs do it in their own time and for free kinda pisses me off...

With the greatest of respect, I did read all the posts, I've been following since the beginning. I was wondering with the AOKP folks being on build 32, whether or not we would be getting an upgrade.

Yes, I have a concern like everyone else about the camera but I know that's a problem across all ROM's. However if this one wasn't being developed, then it would not have a camera...not ever. There is no law that a ROM has to be developed forever.

We've been working on the camera for all gtab 8.9s (we would immediately share with all rom builders), but its not as easy as snapping your fingers. I personally have spent 12+ hours attempting to adapt the ICS wrapper (which has little to no documentation and isn't even for our SOC).

Blame samsung for their lack of expediency in releasing the source code or a rom. Once that happens (or a miracle of programming genius) we will add the camera support post haste.

For the record we will continue to develop this and the AOSP rom (and perhaps another), we have the experience to bring you quality. We hope you continue to appreciate our effort's, my build env is fixed so updates will come faster.

    Ciao
