Im sorry i failed to state I am on a stock el29 rooted. I just finished this morning rooting it and installed rogue CWM. I am def going to stay away from the ics roms and kernels since they could brick my phone. Thanks guys for helping. So Im on stock kernel now with stock rom so Im SAFE to install Calkulin's E4GT v2.9.2 rom correct? Thats a modded stock barebones gingerbread rom.

If you have a GB recovery installed, you can install an ICS ROM from CWM by:
1) dl the ROM and Modem, and saving it to your sd card or internal memory.
2) dl Calkulin's Format All zip and save it
3) boot into Recovery, and Flash the Format All.
4) Flash the ICS ROM
5) Flash the ICS Modem
Do 3,4 and 5 in the same session, Because you will lose CWM Recovery, and now have ICS Stock Recovery.
6) Restart your device.

Remember to back up everything important, and make a Nandroid backup before hand.

It's ok to flash ICS Roms from a GB Recovery.
You can then install a repacked ICS Kernel/Recovery w/ CWM by Steady Hawkin via ODIN if you want.

Well...if you're on a stock EL29 setup and wanting to flash to another Gingerbread rom, you shouldn't be looking in this thread at all. This rogue kernel is ICS only. Just use any GB kernel with recovery and flash to your heart's content.

well the source for the international sgs2 has been released. I think we would have heard something from the devs by now if this was of interest to them. there is always hope that they may find something useful however :)

Question what is the major difference between the ics kernel source code and a stock released ics kernel such as fc15 I understand to a point that the source code OS the I guess the raw code used to create the kernels we have now but can a dev do the same with source code as they can a stock kernel

FC18 repack is finished (thanks for the kernel Calkulin!), just trying to figure out why I get a FC when trying to access the storage menu in CM9. Internal and external mounts work fine in both TW and CM9. Should be releasing tonight.

Sorry for the long delay. Should have an updated repack ready for release likely sometime tomorrow.

    Known Issues-

-Flashing anything for ICS is risky and could result in bricking your device. It has been said a safe bet is using stock EL26 CWR to flash. By flashing our repack you agree that we are not held liable.

-You will not receive any OTA after flashing this.

-You will not be able to install apps to external sdcard on CM9 (you can still access external sdcard though)

    General-

**This kernel and recovery does not install superuser or busybox, please have both installed prior to flashing.**
