Are you sure you have the right file downloaded for the flashing.

In my case
1. Net works fine
2. 3G works fine
3. GPS working fine
4. Wifi is superb
5. Dialer is good.

Custom ROM for Micromaz A350

What happened team still now there is no Custom ROM for Micromax A350...????

What are the constrains, Y no1 is able to bring some ROM..

The problem is there are no phones in market with similar or high configuration to port the rom from.

try an make one custom rom for knight using sony z2 rom if possible

1. I have flashed 4.2
2. then updated it with Micromax phone update with same 4.2
3. then Flashed it with kitkat with CMW.
4. Now its kitkat working fine with Rooted......

Heating issue in KITKAT

After 1 week of KITKAT use, heating issue is major reason to go back to jellybean!!!

MIUI Launcher !!!!

Dear All,
I have downloaded MIUI launcher on my MMX350 (2ghz - rooted) with 4.2 Android version, the result are mind blowing !!!!!!

I currently have the A350 with 4.4.2. (came with kitkat).
For some reason I am just unable to root it.
I don't know the reason, I have followed all the steps but it seems to me that the SP flash tool just doen't detect my phone when connected.
I have Win8.1 with all updates. Are the USB drivers the problem ?
Can someone with win8.1 who has worked out the rooting process help me. If needed PM me.
I really badly want to root this phone to remove all the bloatware at least if nothing else.
Any and all help will be appreaciated.

Try to search and install vcom drivers for mediatek devices ..i.e device manager then ..add legacy devices choose the vcom drivers to install

also attaching the drivers pls try them too

I was finally able to root the phone and instal SuperSU using another Drver I found online.
Does anyone want me write a guide to root this phone in Win8.1 or was I the only one late to the party ? -__-

Also, if anyone has rooted can you list the bloatware to remove? Especially all MMX branding and apps from the storage( i.e. all the .apk and their backups)
I see there is very little info or interest for MMX products and especially this one online. So, I was hoping getting the rooting and bloatware removal would get more customization for this device.

I was able to successfully root on win 8.1 already and i removed those crappy mmx apps like mlive also unistalled the browser with micromax home page...
Also removed truecaller ,hike etc which came along with it...as i was unable to update..

MIUI JellyBean for Canvas Knight A350

Guys there is a ~~Good News~~ for everyone that the MIUI has been ported for Canvas Knight A350 and this is working fine with my phone.

Procedure:
1. Make sure you have Jellybean Installed on the device. If not then install the JB on the device.
2. If you have installed JB just now then start the device and go through the setup.
3. Make sure you have CWM based recovery. If you do then go to the CWM recovery and

i. Wipe Cache

ii. Wipe Dalvik Cache

iii. Wipe DATA/Factory Reset

4. Flash the MIUI rom and then restart the phone.

If you have Any problems then please reply here on the thread. I am using the MIUI for a long time on Knight and I am very happy from the results. I will be more then happy to help you if you find any problems.

Phone not detected

I'm using windows 8 and whenever i connect the phone upon pressing download it is not detected.
