Well, we discussed that before, didn't we? I strongly believe stock kernel should be default on EVERY rom, and users can flash any custom kernels themselves, as they are easily accessible in flashable zips. But hey, it's just imho, no biggie.

All good here 5.1.7 is a beast I tried 3 kernels on various builds I will stick with the one I choose atm How great it is to have options though Hope you had a good trip and time to recover Baad :) as far I am concerned this build is perfect for me until I go to sense 4 for good as always I appreciate the time and effort (keep em coming)Thanks

Hello everybody,

I have only one strange problem: I cannot play games.
I did a full wipe, so that cannot be the problem.

Everytime I start a game it just restarts and restarts and restarts.

Been searching but no equal post to that. Any suggestion?

Hmmm, and this is never reported/investigated??? If it's in every Android version maybe it's an hardware failure and HTC should get us a replacements.

I can not belive you......we have the best chef he makes for us great stable and fast roms and we are doing like ''sisters''...baad i want this i want that...include this incude that....come one boys relax.....xda is a free community if u want like baads work try another rom and stop demand!!!!!

Some people feel entitled to demand things for a product that they paid for.

Anyways, baad, is this a known problem? Whenever I type a message in Spanish, it cuts the message from 160 characters to 70 and anything after that doesn't get sent?

is not a problem, it shows you the truth, when you use special language characters the operator cuts down ur sms to 70 char. the phone only shows you that your carrier will charge for 2 sms instead of one


2nd, who payed for what? since i don't remember charging for rom downloads or asking people to pay for a key or something like that.

All i got is donations which i'm very grateful for but those were made because users felt like it not because they have payed for a product.

Woops my bad baad, that was a typo. Meant to say say entitled to a product they didn't pay for. As in, they're given free stuff and they demand more.

Also, it's strange the carrier sees it as special characters cause for all they know it could be poorly written English words. Cause its still the English alphabet.

SwiftKeyX is the one I use and like too. Special characters like those in Spanish (Á, é, í, ó, ú) make messages split. If you change every í for i, á for a, and so on, it should send 1 message with 160 characters.

Swiftkey relies a lot in predictions. If you have those two language packs, it will start predicting in the language of the first word. I know because I use Spanish and English.

    Before you start using this rom here are some things you need to know

    1. Suggestions are always welcomed but I hate requests - you want something so bad do it your self or ask HTC. you paid them not me.

    2. Don't ask for ETA is rude and offensive. When is done is done.

    3. Custom Roms come without warranty. They are tested before release but something always can go bad. So if you broke your phone or you got fired because the alarm didn't rang - IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM!

    4. Support is limited. Sometimes i can answer your questions sometimes i don't have the time, sometimes i don't have an answer so please do no repeat your question or get offended because I haven't answered you

    5. Don't compare roms. Is rude and offensive for chefs. if other rom has what you need, use that rom.

    6. You can use any parts of the ROM as you please. You can even kang the rom and make "your" ROM. I really don't care

    yes i forgot to add "check by default unknown sources" but keep in mind that

    1. i did 4 roms over the weekend when i was visiting my grandparents, probably most of ppl would have thrown the laptop away and open it monday
    2. if im not mistaken IC is the ONLY rom that provides this addon, many things you take for granted in this rom, are made everytime there is a new base. lots of things happening behind the scenes so you can enjoy the final product.

    but more and more people care less about this, i'm not saying all, but everyday new users come to xda, they don't read, they don't search, they only demand ! i'm getting a bit tired of all this.

    When i started to make roms, the only goal was to make a rom the way i like it Period ! over the time i started to oblige users requests, offering mods, later optional in installs, and in the last period interactive install. but heh is never enough.

    I'm starting to loose the passion for this, i know i can't please all, you may not like it, it's fine, it's not my goal to make anyone happy, but if you don't like don't take a dump on my work, don't use it, or make a nice suggestion it ENGLISH not engrish and not with a demanding attitude.

    examples " i will switch rom coz of no auto-restore " lol wtf dude, is not like you flash this rom every hour. is not like you have to wipe on every update, and even so, you can't live without it, switch roms and move on.
