Then Reboot -

After The First Boot , Do another reboot after 3-5 mins For apps to get settled

First of all , Have to say , below Kernels are modified one's from Doom's & FXP & THjap's to match MiUi Prime .

1. Since this is the default kernel , wifi modules don't need to be applied if you flash the rom from this kernel .

1. Install " NOfrills Cpu control" from Market ( future updates will include nofrills )

2.Set settings as
*freq - 998-192 ( u can always try different things for ur self )
*Governer - Smartass V2 or Ondemand
*I/O scheduler - BFQ

* Don't use 3G unless you are surfing net .. Just use 2G & turn off data for day to day usage .. That will improve the battery life a lot

* Turn off wifi if you are not using it . Wifi kills lot of battery life

All are welcome for posting other different settings in Nofrills for better battery life

Note : reducing cpu to 128 will result lags , so don't blame the rom

If you are on Doom kernel, you have to flash the wifi fix given by him. Or else wifi won't work.

@ others,
you may have to use static IP for wifi, if it didn't connect automatically. Don't have wifi to check it out.

Um, that's what Luke's kernel based on, which FXP's kernel is based on, the SEMC kernel.

Looks Great!

So far it looks great. It took a good 5-10 mins for it to settle down due to caching etc. The longer I use it the faster it seems to get.

Wifi works for me but i have previously implmented Doom's fix. I am getting the Auto-Brightness problem i faced with a previous MIUI Rom. Right before it goes into timeout it makes the screen go to full brightness. The lockscreen is very pretty but the sliding isnt very smooth. These two things are very small issues other than that rom looks like its gonna be good.

I've mentioned a fix for autobrightness issue.
Check the not working section.
I'll check about the wifi error as soon as I get on my PC.

*yes its taking bit time to settle, mainly cause the basic theme is heavy. Do a 2,3 reboots and you are fine

Which fix? I tried the CM7-FXP wifi modules zip form his unlocked bootloader kernel thread but I still get wifi error...
