If you want help, you need to specify what didn't work and what issues you had.
I am on day three now and this ROM rocks! The ONLY minor issue I am having is that I cannot turn on Bluetooth sometimes if WiFi is off. I have not had the wifi toggling issue. Should I flash the wifi patch? I see that is being suggested more often in recent posts. I searched but did not find a clear answer on this and just wanted to check before flashing since everything else is so good.
I followed this procedure to the letter from Docs rom (VibranTurk) and it worked great. I am playing with some of the AOSP I9000 themes right now and will report.
how long does it normally sit at the initial "slim" loading screen on first boot? going on about 10min!
any more than a minutre or so is too long, pull battery, re-enter cwm, wipe data, format system, flash base + essentials again.
ok got it to finally work, i believe it was the format system that helped because i tried the procedure a few times. it eventually took about 1 min. New concern is on first boot 9also rebooted system) there is no launcher or icons?
Zeam launcher, as i put it in my sgs thread, soft menu, then preferences, configure launcher they way you have want. or just swipe down to access applications.
I am unable to get the picasa sync to work, I moved picasa sync gallery and media upload apk' s to system/app and changed permissions, am I missing something

have never used, check the gapps to see if there is a lib file they include.
My Flash was very pain free. I came from Dark Knight ICS, and just went into CWM, clear cache, clear dalvik, factory reset, then flashed the base and essential. I have not flashed the wi-fi fix but I see no need for the fix. My wifi works without issue so I'm not sure what the fix really fixes for me.
And you didn't get a boot loop? Lucky. Mine boot looped and I had to go back to stock etc...

Discuss the rom here in xda and Hit Thanks if you try the rom and like it .143.9 Released. I will say this, read the changelog and FAQ, before posting questions. If you find ppl posting without reading, just direct them to them the changelog page, don't give them the answer, its a few lines not that hard.
You need to d/l and flash Base, Device essentials and Slim Gapps. From next time on you just need to d/l base and device essentials as long as you don't lose Slim Gapps or i don't change it. Happy Friday Everyone!

- Basic gapps included in base is pulled and made a separate flashable zip, reason is two fold,
- make google happy as they prefer this route and
- they don't change often, so why bloat the base unnecessarily.
- Whatever was in UpdateMe ( GenieWidget etc etc), Apps, Stays there,
- Make sure to flash slim_gapps along with base and essentials to get working multi dpi playstore, gmail, talk, video chat, email and exchange. If you flash another gapps, you are on your own, don't complain apps are not compatible if you are not on slim gapps. This is the way moving forward, you can cry about if you want
- Base is now 44 MB
- Synced upto lean 3.8
- Synced upto latest Fluxi's changes.
