SciLor's Wifi Penetrate v0.1.1

attachment.php

SciLor's Wifi Penetrate is a tool for administrators and other people related to network security. This tool provides a database/calculator for many standard Wifi passphrases of todays wireless network routers.
You may use it to check your own network, or it make you skip looking in the manual for the standard password.

Its intention is to provide a Windows Mobile Application similar to Penetrate.

Thanks fly out to deovferreira who shared his database and some code from the Android App http://underdev.org/penetrate/

ReadMe

You will need .NET CF 3.5

Some routers come with a predefined WEP/WPA password. Many people do not change them.
To make it more "safe", passphrase is different on every router BUT it is based on its SSID, so it can be calculated.

Following router-prefixes are supported: "Discus--", "DLink-", "Thomson", "SpeedTouch", "INFINITUM", "Bbox", "DMAX", "Orange-", "BTHomeHub-"

For some routers, this tool accesses a rainbow table (You must download it from the website and put the "thomson" directory into the "rainbow" folder in the applications directory)!

ToDo:

Additional:
Following router-prefixes need the thomson rainbow table: "Thomson", "SpeedTouch", "INFINITUM", "Bbox", "DMAX", "Orange-", "BTHomeHub-"

@scilor

Hi, as you can see in my earlier post, there is a similar app, however, it takes about 10min or more to find the key.

However, there are people who compiled a database with all possible results, for example here for thomson:
http://fodi.me/internet/meo-keys/

and here for Dlink:
http://fodi.me/internet/dlink-keys/

This way, the password comes in about 1 second.

EDIT - sorry because i didnt read all and i said things which are already said by you.

And, of course, THANKS for this wonderful app!!!

My advice is to you try to do the same, so we could use gprs to get the pass and have it in 1sec instead of 10minutes. Of course, for those who don't want to use data connection, they could always use the "offline" way.

What you think?

Interesting... Your abilities know no bounds Mr S.

Many thanks!
:)
Thanks, wil try this out in a few secs. ;)

Enjoy :)

It is even better. You have additional support for discus and dlink. Also you have a rainbow table for the thomson based routers, so there is nearly no waiting time and cpu waste!

is the router postfix the name of the wireless network? im kinda confused haha :p
It is just the whole ssid of the router. If you have a router starting with "Thomson" (prefix) and it follows by a six character hex string you have a good chance to get the standard key. Just enter the SSID (Name of the router that appears on your wifi search).

scilor, what's the name of the program you're using to have Windows taskbar-style program buttons?

Thanks,

I'm bit confused.
I have DLink router and trying to hack my own network
My network SSID name is OptiDSL_F7 and program doesn't want to accept this.

It says that it must have 6 characters postfix or router must be a valid hex string.

Any help ? I will provide router data which is needed ...

The program wants for Dlink following: (others do not work, this program tried to calculate the standard pw of your router!)

SSID: "Dlink-XXXXXX" -> X's must be replaced with your postfix.

You may alternatively try following. Enter the last 6 Hex numbers of your Dlinks Routers mac instead of the postfix. Then enter the first 6 hex numbers of your mac into the next screen

The INFINITUM ones in my area only have 5 postfix digits do I need to try with the MAC address like the DLink?
