Been running this kernel for a while. Great kernel. No difference in this than the at&t?

Just tried this kernel with CM10 and would get constant app crashes. Even had a complete reboot on it. If I try to change the governor I get a hard lock.

Kernel has been excellent on XquiziT v50 (older version). No complaints, even the app works as it should, Set to boot and all. Great work!

are you uv?

what is your setup? I got a little flickering coming out of facebook going to the home screen when i was uv way to low.

I didnt tweak anything... When I opened the KTweaker app it started flickering. I think it has something to do with the Jellybomb Domination theme, because I reflashed v70 and all was well. Then I reflashed JB Domination and got the weird flicker again, after opening the KTweaker app.

Save happened here, somehow everything got so fcked up i had to restore a backup

This has been happening to me as well, but with Lean Kernel as well, and I wouldn't say I'm a noob because I've had all nexus devices, the GSII, G2, G1, G2x, etc, and I've never had such issues with kernels before where everything got so messed up I would have to restore a backup. Constant app crashes everywhere, followed by auto reboots/boot loops.

Anybody have any ideas why our TMobile GSIIIs are acting like this?

This kernal is a definitely a no go for cm10!!! The ktweaker will load up the first time! But once you reboot your device and try to load up ktweaker it will crash!!!!!!

I am running this kernel on the latest cm10 nightly and have no issues at all. *knock on wood*

I am only getting half the download speeds with this kernal vs the stock t-mobile one. Is this because the kernal is att based? Can someone else do a speedtest to confirm?

So here's what I did. I would get all my issues, with constant app crashes, etc, but this time I tried something new. I flashed the kernel after wiping dalvik/cache as usual, then I wiped cache/dalvik again & fixed permissions. Then, I rebooted, let it update apps, etc, IE: do what it needs to do after you wipe the caches, and then I let it sit for 10 mins. I then rebooted got all the force closes again, for various google apps, gmail, calender, etc, as well as apps like twitter, but i let it clear out unchecked my processor options under performance, ran a fix permissions via ROM Manager. Rebooted and it looked alright. I rebooted again & fixed permissions via recovery & now it looks alright, for now! Finally! (Right now it's bootlooping because the min I set is too low for my processor, but that's on me. I'll let you know if it changes)

What are your settings for optimal battery life? This KTweaker app is new to me, and I don't get all the options! xD I keep getting it to force close because I'm not sure what I want to click settings wise! I prefer optimal battery life, while having good speed, but battery life is imperative! I use the phone quite a bit, and can't have it dying after 8 hours/1-2 hours of screen on time. :p

Currently running the Kernel on AOKP 9-5 and its been good but want to know if there are any suggested Governors+Scheduler+Voltage Settings for a good balance between Battery Life(more towards battery life) and Performance(at least giving me a smooth UI)

Yeah, but I may have spoken too soon because now I'm only getting one crash, but it's System UI crashes. :( Gonna try the same strategy on the newest lean kernel, but it's a step!

    ktoonservative Governor
This governor is based on conservative, but added some tunable vars and made it a hotplugging governor unlike conservative. With the settings I included stock it is probably the most responsive gov and is pretty good at saving battery as well. Especially with my screen off option to limit the CPU top Mhz. Hope that answers all ur questions.
