[Q]GOOGLE Play edition or Normal Moto G

Hi, I need help. I am going to purchase Moto G from California, USA. But I am confused about two available version. I want to use in my home county India. Which version should I buy. I have checked play store USA site,where I found that it is for local carrier and if I buy from Amazon then there is a global gsm version. Please advise me....

I believe you need to buy global gsm version

The Google Play edition is said to be the Global GSM version, which should work in India. So it's up to you really. Whether you want 100% stock android from the Google Play version. Or stock android with some Motorola features added in.

If you check USA play store, it's showing for T mobile! That's why I am asking?

From the US Google Play site tech specs for GPE:

Unlocked GSM/UMTS/HSPA+
GSM/EDGE/GPRS (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)

Motorola's site specs:

Global GSM Model:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz)

US GSM Model:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 1700 (AWS), 1900 MHz)

If that helps clear things up.
