This is the only rom I've used. Been running with it FOREVER!!! Quick Question though...when a new release comes out. Everyone loses all of their text messages and apps and then starts all over?? If not, what exactly do you do?

Just want to find the easiest way to update and not fully start from scratch.

(Great job by the way everyone and I guess I'll have to make the 3d jump soon.)

If you are running 5.2 you should be able to flash 5.3 after simply wiping cache and dalvik.

Enjoy....9 times out 10 I will say wipe. But there were not to many framework changes in this build. So you fine.

N00b Questions

Hi all,

I have been watching this ROM for quite some time and finally decided to try it out. I have a couple of questions, maybe n00bish ones.

1 - I saw someone say this came with Anthrax Kernal, mine says 2.6.35.10-g4b48446htc-kernal@and18-2 #1. Any suggestions on which to flash? Any kernals better for speed? battery life?

2 - I noticed the system font looks different than other sense ROMs I've used. Is that tweaked in this ROM or in newer Sense versions? Is there anyway to change it back?

3 - Not a huge fan of the changes to the flip clock, is there a way to go to stock on that as well?

1.distribution of anthrax kernel can get you banned from xda, so GW doesn't bake it in. Chad has not taken down that kernel so google it and youll find what you need.

2 use uot kitchen to change to the font you like. Look on TN site in mods to see if the clock you want is there.

3 in personalize choose lock screen and you can change the lockscreen wallpaper.

4. Enjoy the best ROM ever created.

1- That is interesting, just curious why is it outlawed from XDA? I already found it and tried it, wouldn't boot.

1.-what's your hboot the anthrax kernel won't boot if you have 0.76 you need to higher than that hboot.

Also, regarding the kitchen. My first attempt failed with an error log.
I uploaded these 3 files from the rom: framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk and com.htc.resources.apk

Can anyone tell me what they use for their File Upload settings?

Just restore "SMS/mms APN dialer storage" from system settings in titanium back up. If you have backed up in TB before you flashed. If not then there's nothing to restore. For future releases just back up SMS/mms apn dialer storage with TB before flashing a new version of shooter.

That would be great, how do I change it though. Looks like it is integrated into that lockscreen. Do I have have to swap an image in an apk file somewhere?

nop the background images are part of the weather lockscreen apk, so you would have to decompile it and replace the current backgrounds with the ones u want, I did so with the original ones, Ill upload it flashable as soon as I find it
