I have bought and received the battery now. Seems fine, but I will need more time to really notice any difference. Aslo, my stock battery kept my phone running for 40 hours on a single charge (phone is running on CM7 based ROM, stock ROM never lasted that long, 20 hours max).

40 really? I'm lucky if mY phone
Survives for 10 hours: in a single charge, using cm7.1.0 stable

Hello!

A while ago (around end of August) I bought an Andida battery that claims to have 1980mAh and I felt it gives me marginal better/longer battery life - so far so good.:)

After last update to the latest uv-ironkrnL-mod(version from 23rd of Dec) by vodonka (see my sig) I changed back to the stock battery (fully loaded in external charger and wiped battery stats - of course) and got SODs - especially when activating/deactivating Bluetooth and/or wlan but also out of the blue...:( I tried it for 2 battery cycles - but I got SOD - very annoying.:(
After changing back to the Andida battery didn't have SOD/BSOD or end call issues again - it seems the battery gives me more stable voltage - I assume...:D

And it gets less hot than the stock battery while charging - meaning to the touch - not the not working/not existing temp sensor of the Andida battery of course...;)

So for less than US$10 including free worldwide shipping(from obostore) - this isn't a bad deal...:D

miina_tokiha : I clicked on your images in your signature, and a pop up box comes up with a misleading 'X Close' button on it... which leads you to a porn site. recommend you use a different file service.

I've been using it since mid of November 2011. So far no problem found.

I've received this one days ago. I did 4 recharge cycles and made several tests starting from 100% with both stock and the andida one running "cpu stability" with "stablity test" app for 30 minutes each time.
The andida resulted to retain just 3% more charge, considering I had the stock one for about 6 months and lithium probably lost its natural power with time + common accidental high temperatures I would say the andida one is just 1500mAh as well.

% isn't an accurate way to measure. Go through your PC and find 4-5 hours of video and see which lasts the longest

FYI on a thread I started on this battery over in the g2x group.. So far, it seems promising. I'll keep it updated as I receive responses from those that are using the battery - http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1104665

I brought one of these, hoping for a 23% increase in battery life, but was soon disappointed, in fact I’d say it’s worse than the stock battery. I does come well presented in a plastic box within cardboard sleeve and a hologram! But it is not better than the stock battery. To aid my suspicions I weighed* both batteries and the stock 1500mAh is 31 grams and the Andida 1980mAh is 30 grams! I know weight isn’t everything and they could be using a different chemistry but I doubt it, I don’t think you can cram in an extra 480mAh and keep the same size with current li-ion battery tech.

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and take it off my charger at 7:30am, and it’s almost gone at 18:00 (after low battery warnings, and flashing battery icon) needing a top up, so that’s a full charge over night, then a boost late afternoon. My stock battery is about the same if not slightly better. I can get over 12 hours with both batteries if I don’t use it much; answering texts reading email, checking the news, occasional phone calls and I rarely play any games. This is no way a high capacity battery over the stock one, but that’s my belief. That said, I still love the phone. Hope you find this useful.

    * Calibrated the scales and weighed each battery 3 times to ensure accuracy.

following from the other day I have attached a screenshot just before I charged the extended battery from eBay
the screen was on almost 4 hour
The spikes are from misreadings of the battery level
    I hadn't charged the battery

No problems with my Andida. Yes it has some more juice than the original. Only thing that doesn't work is the temperature reading. It's a good battery and I prefer it over the stock one.

Shut down and removed stock battery at 1%

Inserted fully charged (overnight in external charger) Andida battery
Rebooted phone in recovery mode. Deleted battery stats. Rebooted phone. Battery percentage showed... 1%
Just as a sidenote on changing batteries: If you do it too quickly the phone will not realize you have changed it, and will not update the battery percentage.

So whenever you're changing battery, wait at least 30 seconds after removing a battery before inserting a new one.
