[Q] Having trouble updating to 4.3 via OTA

Ok,i just got the 10.4.1.B.0.101 update available for download and every time I try to install it,it reboots and gives me an error. Now,I've updated OTA countless times but the only thing that is different is that I have a custom(Dual) recovery installed. Is that causing the issue? Can I revert to the factory recovery?

Ota updates checks system partition delta informations.

Probably because of dual recovery modify runtime scripts, update fails in check procedure.

you might try to uninstall recovery from system partition, or use update cmw packages.

Yeah I removed the recovery,now it boots normally,but still wont install. Anything else I can do,I wanna avoid flashing the data partition?

I having the same problem

Hi , I have the same problem .
My C6602 is rooted , Is it the reason ?
& if Yes , How can I solve it ?

Yeah I did that a while ago on my old phone,but the version missmatch from the app data caused all kinds of problems and force closes. Maybe that wont happen,but I'd like to do anything for OTA to work properly.

And to answer the previous thread question,root is not the problem.

Come on guys,I haven't posted a question in 2 years,please help me with this.

Can i just download a ftf package and flash only recovery and then use OTA?
