NEW BOOT LOADER VERSIONs-AVATAR ROMs(Temasek- DISCONTINUED)

NEW BOOT LOADER VERSIONs of TEMASEK JB 4.2.2 ROM (DISCONTINUED as the DEV has moved to a new device...no support now)

ALL CREDITS GO TO TEMASEK.
This is no way my ROM. I am just making new boot loader versions out of the existing beautiful ones.

Instructions:

if you come from other ROMs:
make a clean wipe
format System
flash through CWM or TWRP
flash the gapps
reboot and enjoy

if you are updating from an existing Tema JB ROM:
just a dalvik/cache wipe (for safety )

This thread will be updated as and when Temasek updates the ROM version. But, please dont ask for ETAs from TEMASEK or even me

Just a two cents of my brain

phew..... it was a lot for the last 12 hours

tried out and did a lot of testing with all new bootloader versions:-

Temasek V75
Optithrust V2 Mark1
CM 10 by pengus77
CM 10.1 by tonyp
OpGaNex 2.2b
DM 1.6.5
PAC man 16/5
AVATAR 2.14b
and a ROM forbidden one in this forum

First, I find myself so lucky that I have so many ROMs to choose from....Could not check the PA....drained out my energy till 8 in the morning without any sleep....I would like to do more ....test the GCC 4.7 and 4.8 by tonyp

Second, I think it is better for the users using the Temasek, OpGaNex, PAC man and AVATAR ROMs to give a genuine feedback to the Developers, to encourage and motivate. I see that the number of downloads are so high and the feedback is so little....except for one odd feedback once a while. It would be better to give a good honest feedback to make things better. It would be good to hear if a ROM is good and no real bugs. Or maybe these ROMs are absolutely bug-free. But, it is good to say that even

generally, I found that the CM based had more features smoothness but the stability or battery performance for me, was better with Stock.

I used the @civato' 2.3 and @carburano KoB Kernels (these two guys are amazing-we miss you guys)with stock ROMs and I monitored for an hour each of the Stock ROMs and I some how felt that KoB Kernels and Civato's Kernels for Stock are more or less better battery performers....with very little difference....approx 3-6% of battery with wifi and changing to 3G was an easy cake walk.

For the CM series, nothing was better to the KK....Honestly, I am giving my opinion and I dont mean anything offensive to anyone. I agree that one hour of testing would not mean anything conclusive and I dont mean to judge here. I am just passing my experience as i saw each one with a written analysis each time to compare. Kowalski was like a dream into the cosmos world....and making a ROM go that zoooom instantly. I tested a ROM with the in-built Kernel and then switched to KK.....and the result was like unbelievable.... @pengus77 has transformed this device.

Features of CM based ROMs ranging from pie controls and dynamic changing of dpi (PAC man), custom carrier selection, PA controls @tonyp you are real jewel for this device too), Modding without any seam(JB though that is prohibited here)....it is an amazing world of CM ROMs with a lot of customization (one of the reasons I moved out of just the Stock).

Though, I am overwhelmed by the fact, that the developing fraternity here are doing jobs like pulling out the rabbit from the hats..... not to forget @wkpark for his work for unlocking the bootloader

This device might be old but it is not given me a moment of despair or turning back...I know new things will take over, new devices will be stronger, smarter, better (maybe ) but a bottle of old wine still is considered the best.....whatever the LG has given us.....whatever is its blunders.....thanks to the developers who made us love this device.
This post is kind of OFF TOPIC but thought to express my gratitude to each of the committed contributors, developers, users... @Topogigi, @Spica123, @carburano, @civato, @Stefan, @temasek, @vadonka, @metallica, @mivv, @pengus77, @flix, @tonyp, @rugglez (my brother), @Jishnu Sur (bhai), @sgspluss, and a lot more whom I might have mistakenly missed out and those modders, themers....I am proud I chose the Android which makes this world of freedom for us....

THANKS GUYS, THANKS to everyone. this is not a farewell speech but a honest one after I realised this in a 12hour session of flashing and testing with this wonderful device and it was AMAZING.

Also pls be careful with permissions management option. Don't use it if u aren't sure.
