Installing Clockworkmod on Xolo Q900

Hello friends, I created this thread for this thread and it's my preferred method.

Thanks to Shikhar A for creating the CWM recovery

Installing Clockworkmod recovery on Xolo Q900

Download the files I have linked:

1.) CWM recovery
2.) Flash tool
3.) drivers

Check its integrity

for CWM recovery
CRC32: CFB493FA

for Flash Tool
CRC32: 171B8F50
MD5 : 11037F27575664987024F3304B01E641

for drivers
CRC32: 3AE096AE
MD5 : C8F307484707AD5DFA8FBE2EC24F6120
SHA-1: 09696ECBC45A90E4F0F05399A2F5AF1C457C0AAB

Note: If you are in Windows 8/8.1 you need to disable driver signature check to install the driver

Now follow the procedure below carefully:

Make sure you have installed the drivers correctly.
(For Windows 8/8.1 install Windows 7 drivers)




Extract the files to their respective folders



Now open the Flash_Tool.exe



Open the scatter file from extracted folder



Make sure it looks like below. You can safely ignore the unticked ones



Click on Download



It will show you a warning, click Yes



Now the tool will wait for the phone to connect
Switch off your mobile and remove the battery
Connect the mobile without battery to PC with datacable
Now insert the battery
The flashing begins and you will see green circle saying OK
You can safely disconnect the mobile from PC
Now press VOL-UP and POWER buttons together and you should see CWM recovery.

What os are you using? Are you aware that I have attached the drivers already?
