I did search the forum for the post but didnt find any. Only the one where its a combined package with media provider. The reason why i am looking for the sole apk is that I dont want to install the media provider and then experience the battery drain. Anyway I shall keep searching. Please let me know if you come across that post. Thanks.

Yup i saw that. the only reason why i'm searching for a single apk is that i dont want to install the whole cwm package and experience a battery drain.

Even I would be guessing here but I think that different roms have different framework even though they are both 4.0.4 versions but there are some changes.. like there is aosp and aokp.. both are 4.0.4 but I don't think they'll support each other's apks..
in GB I tried to use some MIUI apks on CM7 .. both based on 2.3.7 but didn't work.. so same may be the case here..

How to change font? I want to change it to abscissa that i have installed. It was an apk btw. I just dont like the normal font i think it's arial. Like on gingerbread rom, you can change the font through settings - display - font. I couldn't find it in settings even in ASS.

I'd like to know that too. For example if I want to compose an email and use voice input.

There is an option in:
Android keyboard settings -> Voice input key -> main keyboards, symbols keyboard, off,

but still no voice input available. I did install Google Speech. Also, I am on 100% stock. Guess that feature has been deactivated?

Frequently Called List

Does anybody know how to clear the "Frequently Called" list in the phone/dialer apk? I can clear "Call Log" but not "Frequently Called".
Any clue?

I have a few problems with the lockscreen; I can't have any custom app on number 1. It simply won't show up. And second I can't change any of the app logos. I would like to upload screenshots of it, but XDA doesn't accept any of the screenshots I have taken with this ROM.

How to make market dislplay my country currency. I's in $ now. Before some time when I was on other rom it was showing my currency.

On the other side my phone is recgnized like I'm in UK so how can I change that?

I did changed permission as you show and even changed owner but still no success I guess they are not compatible after all the only question is how and how the system knows that maybe Krarvind can set us straight about that.

the first screen you see after the device screen is the kernel splash screen. The only way to change that is to re-compile the kernel with a new one because it's built in.

    Installation Instructions:
    • A simple wipe cache/dalvik cache and install this should be it. If you want clean install, wipe data, format system, and cache, then install.
    OR
    RECOMMENDED OPTION FOR NEW USERS
    • These steps should work for anybody who has Sammy GB ROM on the phone with CWM recovery
      • Flash CM9/TH build 16 or my Slim ICS 2.6 then my latest base + essentials ( if you are on another ICS ROM, this shouldn't bee needed)
      • Reboot to recovery or if it bootloops, pull battery, enter CWM

    • Use this Vending.apk if the inbuilt one doesn't allow paid apps.
      or
    • Change to 240 dpi, reboot, clear market cache, and verify that all apps are seen ( if you can't see any at 182 dpi), then change it to 182 dpi and don't clear cache. All apps will show up until you clear cache next time.

    • Buy LCD Density Modder Pro. Easily allows to change DPI and downloads a modded multi dpi marketplace.
