I have flashed silence kernel on ViperOne 3.5, first 2 days phone was working flawlessly, but then battery started draining fast. At night, it goes from 100 to 80-85, even when wifi/data is off and power saving mode is on. I don't have any idea why it started drain so fast. CPU governor is set to "ondemand", and I/0 scheduler is set to "fiops", any suggestions?

When i charge to 100%, in next 30-40 minutes it goes to 90-93(when i'm not using phone), then stays there for a short time and drains normally. After some time, for example at 70%, it does same thing again. Tried underclocking CPU to 1566, changed governor to "badass", almost same..

If you need more information, just tell me what to provide))

Seems like a wakelock. My guess is its the Google play services wake lock. I get it from time to time but a reboot will fix it

Seems an update to lollipop is due. New download link in the op

I'm running the new kernel cause I love dt2w. One thing is, it doesn't show the lock screen on wake after a double tap or swipe or pressing the power button just a dark screen. I can still swipe up and the screen comes on. I can turn off screen lock and the screen turns on after wake methods but I'd rather not.

EDIT/ADD: Scratch that, it seems to be working now. Like it needed to settle in or me turning lock screen on and off a couple times did the trick. Awesome! Thank you.

DOUBLE EDIT: it still does what I earlier described.

I use Widgetlocker for my lock screen and have the Lolipop lock screen disabled. I turned off DT2W and just use S2W/S2S and when I swipe to turn on it always brings up the Widgetlocker lock screen.

Thanks to OP for this update.

Double tap to wake on lollipop

Can somebody plz tell me how to enable dt2w on stock lollipop 5.0.2 using this kernel..
I used xposed modules to do that on 4.4 but now I hv no idea..Is it enabled by default?

    What is a kernel?

In computing, the kernel is the main component of most computer operating systems; it is a bridge between applications and the actual data processing done at the hardware level. The kernel's responsibilities include managing the system's resources (the communication between hardware and software components).

If you could make a 4.4.x kernel, That would be great, as people need one for 4.4 instead of 4.3, as to date there are no 4.4 kernels out there, there are dozens of 4.3 kernels on the other hand. You would be greatly thanked if you could make a 4.4 kernel.

Who says that I don't

There were 4.4 kernels before any 4.3 kernels came out lol
