Running Windows 7 x64.
I have flashed my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (P3113) v4.2.2 multiple times today using CF-Auto-Root-espressowifi-espressowifiue-gtp3113.tar.md5, but every time I check it with Root Checker Basic; it says "This device does not have proper root access." I have used ODIN v1.85, v1.87, v3.07, and they all report successful with no issues, etc. The tablet reboots and displays the following after rebooting using ODIN:
Detecting Devices ... (with the Red Android)
- Recovery
- System
- Cache
- Data
Mounting....
- System
- Data
- Cache
Rooting (SuperSU) ...
Restoring Stock Recovery ...
Cleaning Up ...
Formatting Cache ...
Use Triangle Away to Reset Flash Counter
Rebooting in 10 Seconds ...
To me, that appears SuperSU was installed, yet when I get back to the home screen and run Root Checker, it always reports it is not rooted.
- USB Debugging is checked and enabled.
- I've tried unchecking the automatic reboot in ODIN
- I cleared the Cache Partition
- Installed latest version of Kies, then uninstalled Kies, but kept the drivers. (So most recent Samsung drivers installed)
Any suggestions?
