What works:
  • Mobile network (2G/3G switch and network selection as well)
  • Data connection
  • Data usage statistics
  • Audio

  • Wi-Fi Direct (P2P)
  • Bluetooth
  • GPS

What doesn't work:
  • Calling through bluetooth A2DP

Installation method:

    New Beta-2.4 build complete.
    Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?99y7i75a487c2l6
    Changelog:
    • HD video recording in stock camera app fixed
    • USB tethering fixed
    • FM radio fixed
    • HW acceleration fixed
    • Moving apps to SD card fixed
    • Voice call apps (Skype, etc.) probably fixed
    • Initial USB audio support (I cannot test.)
    • Included a lot of build.prop tweaks (including those of Vikram)
    • Added ISO and focus mode changing
    • Maybe fixed GPS (not sure)
    • SD card swap fix included

    Note:
    • I haven't looked into the battery issue deeply yet. I've noticed the l2_hsic wakelock being held for hours in the night and have read a bit on this issue. Topics write that when you don't wake up the phone (e.g. getting to lock screen), this wakelock doesn't get released and it will drain the battery in the background.
    • CRT-off animation is disabled in this build, instead I have enabled screen lights animation. I really like when it fades into power-off state. You can re-enable it with using an external hack/tool, e.g. Xposed Framework.
    • I have included some kernel patches (most of them cherry-picked from ardatdat), now there are some new features (e.g. more frequencies, GPU OC, NTFS support, etc.).

I need screenshots of the battery issue. Give me screens of:
    • CPU states (e.g. with CPU Spy or BetterBatteryStats),
    • Kernel and partial wakelocks (with BetterBatteryStats),
    • Battery percentage used by processes (with Battery Monitor Widget).

Sorry if i was away the last months, i recently got my new appartment and ive now all my PCs and internet again :p hard to sync over wifi hotspots ;)

I'm currently with the (CM) Team to add Adam cm-10.1 repos in CyanogenMod github and the gerrit (first step for the official status)

If you dont know already, CM7 and CM9 will be removed from nighly build server soon... so we need to focus on JB 4.2.2 (cm-10.1)

Edit: done, we have the gerrit entries now...

So, after a lot of kernel panics, approx. an hour of debugging and digging in kernel code, I was able to properly modify ejtagle's HWComposer wrapper (referenced to by Karthik) and actually sync to the hardware in display instead of using an emulator thread. It's blazing fast without any tweaks. I think I can say that Project Butter is here.
