Hey guys.. Here's a profile I been playing with.. I'm using the alucard kernel pulled out of the optimized cm12 ROM flashed on vanir

I use my phone as an mp3 player mainly but it posts games fine also

Stweaks are messing up vibration strength settings in cm12. There's no way to deactivate these vibrate boost options when I don't want them. So I deactivated STweaks for now.

And what if you put both to the same level?
Like 50% at cm12 settings and 50% at stweaks

No matter how i adjust it, after next boot vibration is somehow reset to a too high value for my taste. If i don't use Stweaks all adjustments work as expected. I think it's just not compatible with cm12 (newer builds) anymore or not yet.

Not sure if anyone ever answered this for you.

I start by using the "battery" profile. Then turn on the under voting. And enable gentle fair sleeper under CPU. Set I/O read ahead on both to 2304
And there govs to SIO or FIOPS.
You can change the GPU over to simple if your not a gamer. If you are I would leave it ondemand IMO I seam to get better battery life with simple.
Sometimes I change governors to cpu 1/2 alucard, 3/4 nightmare or depending on the Roms battery life after a few recharged. If I'm getting great battery with all 4 at alucard I'll leave it.

I normally use my phone to do tts for audiobooks or its just an mp3 player mostly. I normally don't judge a rom off screen life

In my opinion it is not a good setting from following reasons:
on one side you decreased core 1,2 and 3 max frequencies

Could anyone give me some links for Alucard-V1.1a For 5.0 AOSP version working for CM12?
I never use games and I'm looking for battery duration first and smooth scroll for second.
All I found is for older version of Alucard :(

I'm sorry, guys but I can't understand the difference between "gpl_" settings: which one I need to change if I want my external speaker to play louder, but not the internal one, which I'm applying to the ear?

i would recommend hotplug like this or similar - you have to keep in mind that pushing hotplug to gigher frequencies than the max will be not effective:

you see the core:
1 is turned on when core 0 is at 1242000MHz
2 is turned on when core 1 is at max
3 is turned on when core 2 is at max

anyway question is e.g. the 810000MHz for turning core 1 off is set well - as if you never reach the frequency it will be on since turned on ... usually you need to tweak hotplug as required by the use of the phone and there is much more parameters you can trigger/force the required behavior.

if i would setup such hotplug I would do you max frequencies (or limited for all cores to e.g. 1600000MHz) and then tweak the hotplug. I understand you are trying to have a phone cold, but in my opinion is better to go the other way - allowing the phone to use max power when needed but limit it to get to such values and also make him scale down not that fast so you are holding a little more power then you need.

In TWRP choose to boot to AROMA file manager - there just go to the \data\.alucard and delete the content of the folder - everything in the folder. then reboot

or

wipe system and reflash rom ...

I just got my s4 and i have cm12.1 optimized with alucard. Can someone help me configure stweaks or even better upload the config file?

I use my phone for:
-music
-taking photos and videos
-browsing

I dont play any games. Mostly i care for best battery life.

    Please also identify what sort of profile you expect this to be - battery, extreme battery, balanced, performance or extreme performance and free to give your profile a name ;)
