Hey guys.. Here's a profile I been playing with.. I'm using the alucard kernel pulled out of the optimized cm12 ROM flashed on vanir
I use my phone as an mp3 player mainly but it posts games fine also

And what if you put both to the same level?
Like 50% at cm12 settings and 50% at stweaks
No matter how i adjust it, after next boot vibration is somehow reset to a too high value for my taste. If i don't use Stweaks all adjustments work as expected. I think it's just not compatible with cm12 (newer builds) anymore or not yet.

Not sure if anyone ever answered this for you.
I start by using the "battery" profile. Then turn on the under voting. And enable gentle fair sleeper under CPU. Set I/O read ahead on both to 2304
And there govs to SIO or FIOPS.
You can change the GPU over to simple if your not a gamer. If you are I would leave it ondemand IMO I seam to get better battery life with simple.
Sometimes I change governors to cpu 1/2 alucard, 3/4 nightmare or depending on the Roms battery life after a few recharged. If I'm getting great battery with all 4 at alucard I'll leave it.
I normally use my phone to do tts for audiobooks or its just an mp3 player mostly. I normally don't judge a rom off screen life
In my opinion it is not a good setting from following reasons:
on one side you decreased core 1,2 and 3 max frequencies

I see your settings are very conservative and aiming to be power saving to be used mostly as mp3 (not sure about more demanding games - I am sure you must have problems with the AA titles).
Sure if you don't mind. Every time I play with got plugging I seem to make it worse lol

I never use games and I'm looking for battery duration first and smooth scroll for second.

Could you fix the hotplug stuff? I would like to use that profile, as I also use my phone as mp3 player. My current profile makes my phone hot by even regular usage, kind of weird if you ask me. I even undervolted the cpu to keep it a bit cooler.
I'm sorry, guys but I can't understand the difference between "gpl_" settings: which one I need to change if I want my external speaker to play louder, but not the internal one, which I'm applying to the ear?

scaling_max_freq_cpu3=1134000i would recommend hotplug like this or similar - you have to keep in mind that pushing hotplug to gigher frequencies than the max will be not effective:

1 is turned on when core 0 is at 1242000MHz
2 is turned on when core 1 is at max
3 is turned on when core 2 is at max
anyway question is e.g. the 810000MHz for turning core 1 off is set well - as if you never reach the frequency it will be on since turned on ... usually you need to tweak hotplug as required by the use of the phone and there is much more parameters you can trigger/force the required behavior.
if i would setup such hotplug I would do you max frequencies (or limited for all cores to e.g. 1600000MHz) and then tweak the hotplug. I understand you are trying to have a phone cold, but in my opinion is better to go the other way - allowing the phone to use max power when needed but limit it to get to such values and also make him scale down not that fast so you are holding a little more power then you need.

erm...got a problem .) - i used a third party profile which seems to do not working. the phone crashes all the time while booting. im in twrp now with the file browser...how do i restore the original settings? i reflashed the kernel (on cwm 12.0: Kernel-Alucard-V1.0f-[20-35]-[09-12]-AOSPV2-EUR-LP5.0-SGIV-PWR-CORE.zip) before without succeeding...

In TWRP choose to boot to AROMA file manager - there just go to the \data\.alucard and delete the content of the folder - everything in the folder. then reboot
or
wipe system and reflash rom ...
I just got my s4 and i have cm12.1 optimized with alucard. Can someone help me configure stweaks or even better upload the config file?

26The profile backup below can be imported in Alucard V1.3d AOSP kernel.
For all other kernel versions use the Compare file for reference and change the settings manually!

Best practice
As well as attaching your actual default zip file please also copy and paste your settings from your zip file into your post and make bold and highlight your tweaks in red, I will then put this in the appropriate post for either AOSP, TW or GE in a 'spoiler' for users to actually identify what changes have been made
Please also identify what sort of profile you expect this to be - battery, extreme battery, balanced, performance or extreme performance and free to give your profile a name
What I will do
upload said settings and/or experience of using these settings to the relevant section of this thread

This one works nicely all over the place for me, good performance, quick to sleep, no wakeup issues and BT is good once you get past it's sputters in the first few minutes of music streaming.
v1.4b [performance/stable] nothing can be called stable with new Samsung CAF !!!!!!!
v1.4h zip Fluid and stable
GE settings
V2.2a zip This profile is biased towards performance or zero lag so though I am still getting 4 hours so time under heavy use.
