  • What do I need to Flash Bindroid XTC ROM?

1. You need a HTC One S

2. Bootloader Unlocked - Go Here

3. Installation of Latest Recovery - Go Here

Only got a One S but none of the above? Go Here or Here



How to Flash BinDroid XTC

IMPORTANT - Make a Backup BEFORE Flashing

1. Download ROM

2. Place .zip file on your SD card

3. Boot to Recovery

4. Make a Backup

5. Flash the ROM.zip

6. Then, reboot to bootloader (holding power down for 10 seconds and then power and volume)

7. Select 'Fastboot' and ensure you plug your phone into your PC

8. The using command prompt flash the boot.img using commmand fastboot flash boot boot.img

10. Then type fastboot erase cache

11. Reboot and Enjoy!

NB. You will need to extract the boot.img from the ROM.zip.

If you don't want to use command prompt to do this, then use Flash-Boot.zip @ bottom of this post. Thanks to Lee for this!

Ensure you flash the CORRECT boot.img for each build! Check changelog and if you're not sure, ASK!

AROMA Installer gives users the possibility to choose which mods and applications they want to Install on to their device. Have a look HERE.

Looks good, might test it out.

On TMO US One S, still stuck on TMO US ROMs lol

Appreciate it. I am stupid and don't really know the difference (other than the TMO US bloatware).

    All roms based on the same build might look a like. Same build isn't it.
    It's what's under the hood that makes it different.
    Not all roms have the same system tweaks/adjustments, that's why some might use more ram: but free ram is lost ram, use it if you have it. Android is capable to kill apps if it needs ram. So no need to for you to worry about it.
    BinDroid is a rom to make your device look nice, and run smooth. We will get as much stock look out as we can, and soon we will have our m10 editor to make the finishing touch.
    All respect for Lee, but no need to copy a rom. The main thing is that we want to enjoy what we build, and share it here with you guys.
    No need to compare roms, it rude and not necessary.
