There's a local program in my city offering a 10-week bootcamp to learn how to code (specifically Rails, Ruby, TDD, git, and JavaScript). However, I'm conflicted if I want to pay the large sum and do this or go for a year-long program that offers an A+ Certification and a paid internship/job post-graduation the the problem with this is that the time/commitment that needs to be given as well as that not helping with what is needed for coding.

I'm rather young, but I want to find a job in coding/development as it is one of my biggest interests. I've tried studying via codeacademy.com but I don't really know how to apply my knowledge and I'm more of a hand-on learner so I'm sitting on the fence between those two unless there are other options out there that I can try.
