Re: Sony Xperia Z Covers And Cases

I will not put any hard case, don want to hide "Z" beauty. :victory:

However I may put some transparent case or front and back both screen protector with anti-finder print property.

Like http://www.nillkin.com/english/proshow.asp?mid=2&sid=0&tid=0&cid=1&scid=13&id=3089&page=1

If somebody using such type of screen protector, please comment on it's anti-finder print property.

My only gripe is what happens when you get liquid on these screen protectors or any kind of screen protector or 'invisi shields'? Do they peel?

I think I'll be going for the official bumper from Roxfit

I want some protection but I don't want to hide the phone. However, I want to get the dock when it's released, so that kind of prevents me using any case at all. Maybe just screen protectors front and back.

Re: Sony Xperia Z Covers And Cases

@marcgear I do like the white but I am concerned that it's goin to get dirty quickly, though agree itll look great with the Xperia z.

I like the bumper but obviously it'll have to be removed when charging which is a shame and won't work in the dock either. I've bought the official pouch from ebay, they've got the grey one too: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-O..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item2ec6448513

Looking forward to the docks being available, would like a white one for my room.

I'm curious about the Sony offer from 28 Feb, is this going to be a redemption deal for a free case and dock?? I want a dock at home and at work but will stick to one for now and keep an eye on the offer - that's if anyone gets stock of the dock before then, haven't found one available yet. Any suggestions? I'm probably going to get it from Clove or direct from Sony in white.

The offer btw - http://www.sony-offer.com/

EDIT: Wow, that was fast, case turned up today! Not as good quality as my Sena one for my S2 but good to have something for day one.

EDIT 2: Not too impressed with this, great to have something for day one but it's quite cheap and nasty and the material is pretty rigid. I'm sure it'd ease in a bit but it's pretty big too due to the stitching either side. Much wider than the Z. My Sena pouch for S2 is barely bigger than the phone as they've neatly stiched it internally so it's very clean and smooth and compact.

Waiting for Sena or someone else to do one for the Z and then this is going in the bin...

    @Joshaldo
    Hey guys just ordered my Xperia Z here in Aus. Can anyone recommend a good durable case/screen cover combo?

    Hey joshaldo im from Aus too, Vic, Melbourne
    if you want something durable go for one of the bumpers in this thread, its the best form of protection for the phone.
    an alternative is you could try either the nilkin 'protection' cover or the imak cover - link below.

    @jasminel
    @droidhd
    So ive currently got these three below
    Nillkin flip cover black

    Nillkin 'protection' cover black

    and ive got the Hard Hybrid Silicone cover black coming from 'YouSaave'

    and finally what your waiting to be briefly review;
    Imak Thin Transparent Crystal Clear Hard Case

    So the case is see through as you can see in the photos.
    it fits firmly with the xperia z; ports are easy to open - headphone jack, usb (till we get the dock)
    buttons are easy to press too.
    the case is nicely aligned with the ports and buttons;
    aswell as the speaker, lanyard, camera and flash and noice cancelling microphone hole.

    it sits nicely around the corners and protects them.
    also there is a slight 'raise'/'curb' in towards the screen -
    which means if you sit the screen flat on a table it wont scratch the screen protector/screen as there is about 2mm space between
    the screen and edge of the case when its on the table

    also since the case is see-through you can notice slight scratches on the back -
    mine has some already from sliding it abit at work on a table but meh.
    if youd get another color you wouldnt notice it.

    last but not least, case is easy to put on and a little fiddly to remove untill you get used to it
    anything else?

    All the cases so far haven't been great. I don't like the wallet style cases or pouches. The only good looking cases that don't hide the beauty are the poetic bumper and 'atmosphere' range but they have not been released yet and inevitable to have problems with them.Oh well, on the hunt I go

    I have used it for about 2-3 days, haven't dropped it so far.
