Welcome Nitro. Loved your work when I had my droid charge. I flashed this rom this morning and already found a minor bug. If you choose 24 hour format for the time, it only shows the two digits for the hour, no matter where you have it positioned. If I use 12 hour format, then I get the hour and the minutes.

MD5 gapps-jb-101112-phone

Thank you for your contribution to the community first of all!

The MD5 is coming back bad every time on the gapps-jb-101112-phone download I downloaded it four times to make sure.

Did you just paste the wrong MD5?

I noticed that the mirror for it is coming back as the following download, Eclipse-2.1-d2vzw-build1 and it's not matching up MD5s either.

Thank you for any help and yes I press the thank you button.

Change it to show regular am/pm and it will show the minutes. If you pick small am/pm it shows small minutes if you prefer that.

What's a good kernel for use with this sick as ROM?? I've been using lean kernel and recently tried kt747 with good results on other ROMs.

I don't think there's a "good" kernel to use with it. Whatever has worked for your before on other AOSP roms probably works well here too.

Any fix yet for the calendar not syncing? .I never could get it to work...wish they would update this rom..it is nice..except for no face book syncing contacts and the calendar problem.

By "they" do you mean me? Lol.
Facebook sync is not an AOSP problem. It is a Facebook problem. Yes, it can be hacked in though. The image quality when hacked in is terrible though. Use friend caster if you need Facebook. Although I did add the hack in 421 builds.

Pull the calendar from my nexus builds if you want it to work. I never bothered to fix it since I fixed it in 4.2.1 builds. I am very close to having a 4.2.1 build ready to go.

A simple yes or no if you please.
Nitro...are you planning on keeping development for this rom on the sgs3 going?
    or no

    thanks

and for the love of God would someone point me in the direction of the correct/detailed way to install this calendar fix. thanks,
    this thread has become....not helpful

Yes development is still going for the S3. I had to start from scratch when 4.2 came out and is a long process. I have just started adding in hardware support for non nexus devices. Install older Google apps if you need the calendar to work again. Google broke calendar sync on the last two updates.

I am in the process of integrating the new blobs to work with aosp from the leak. Video and ril files are a big help from the leak.
