Dumb Question:
Did you clear your caches before installing the ROM? If no do that. The installation instruction on the first page are weak at best. I used the following instructions on 1st installation of ROM.

1-Wipe Data
2-Wipe Cache
3-Wipe Dalvik-Cache
4-Flash ROM followed by Gapps
5-Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
6-Reboot and Let Settle for 5-10 minutes

I would also recommend not using the GAPPS from the 1st page.. It's super lite. I use the calendar and had to remove the provided gapps and install another one.

I'm still using this rom. it's good.

When installing a new ROM you should always clear the caches. There is data in there, even on new phones, that could screw up the ROM installation. Follow the instructions in my previous post and you should be good.

Unwanted Factory Resets

I want to start by saying that Blue Lightning is awesome !

but heres my problem,

I'm not on the latest update, but I'm experiencing an issue when my phone dies. It started happening when I installed this Unofficial CM 11 Rom

When I charge my phone, and power it on after it had died, it Factory resets itself, but its not a clean reset, its glitchy, Google Play will keep crashing continuously, and my previous apps will act all messed up, its incredibaly frustrating.

I was hoping if anyone could help me out, or if @ThdDude was familiar with this, what should I do? I was hoping it wouldnt happen after i went from CM 11 to Blue Lightning... but the problem continues.. however, when I dont let my phone die, it was running strong for about a month or so

VERY buggy for me.

Bluetooth.com constantly stops working, phone service constantly crashes....
Phone will freeze, and then crash. When it reboots the phone has to resetup again.

I enjoyed it for a while, but I just can't take the bugs anymore..

Nice work with it either way..

Blue Lightening.

Hey guys,
I had this Rom for awhile and the longer I had it the more problematic it became. Since the dev abandoned it there won't be any fixes for it. I moved on to Slimkat (KitKat 4.4.4). Trust me and do the same. The dev finished it and it's incredibly stable and so far everything works. I'm sure the BL rom would have been great if the dev had finished working on it. The dev of Slimkat is also working on SlimLP (Lolipop) for the Skyrocket. Either way good luck.
