It is well known that the Lumia 710 doesn't have the best battery life. I found a "replacement" battery on e-bay that is larger in capacity. The standard BP-3L OEM one is rated at 1300mAH and the replacement battery on e-bay is rated at 2430mAH.

Anyone have luck with this battery? Not sure if anyone has purchased batteries from this manufacturer, e-cell, and if their products are any good?

The Nokia 710 uses the same battery as the Nokia 603 which is a a BP-3L not a BP-4L.

Who said anything about a BP-4L? The extended battery on ebay is listed as a BP-3L.

The listing states "GOLD 2430MAH BP-3L HIGH CAPACITY BUSINESS BATTERY FOR NOKIA 603 LUMIA 710" which means the 710 uses the same sized (physically) battery as the 603, which is what I'm guessing your implying.

Sorry about the confusion. The ad does say 710 and BP-3L. There was another thread where someone was asking about a BP-4L and I replied to the wrong thread.
However, I would be skeptical of a similar sized battery with such a high capacity.

No worries about the confusion :) I went ahead and just ordered this battery on ebay; if it is fake then I'll request a charge-back via Paypal ;) Simple as that. Stay tuned.

Hi. I'm italian and I don't know how to speak a good english. I've bought that battery, the seller is reliable. The battery has arrived with nothing. I've tested it and the result was... 1300mAh. I left a negative feedback, and the seller has refunded me. But i still have the battery. Now i just ordered a 1,70€ bp-3l (1500mah) :)

Italy <3!

As for the battery I ordered, still hasn't arrived. I will await my arrival and test it as well. Thanks for your input.

I bought an andida 1700mah battery. It drains as fast as the original 1300mah. One thing i found out is that after using the 1700mah extended battery it somehow mess up your "battery status" in the diagnostic tool. It shows the voltage and current but the battery full capacity has disappear from the list. Anything similar happen to you guys?

hello friends, I bought a few weeks ago the battery mungen and I must say that I threw 36 euros. there is no difference between the original and this one. and diagnostics tool to me is missing when updating to firmware version for free 12120. I found this one on internet what you think.
ebay.es/itm/2200mAh-BP-3L-bateria-Nokia-603-Lumia-710-303-Asha-Asha-3030-/280838748332?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_186&hash=item41634b38ac
I confirm that gives maximum mungen 1275mah after 6 full loads and two months of use

Ofcourse these batteries are fake. Even if they do exist, just think why doesn't Nokia sells it in their stores ? i wouldn't go for a product which is not official. I am happy with the battery life my phone has.

From my expereince, i own a HD7

The HD7 battery dimensions can only go up to 1300 mah
Seido, anker and mugen are selling them . they are 80 mah + than the original battery

ANy other capacity more than that means extended battery door and significantly thicker battery.

Dont get fooled into buying these gold batteries that advertise same size but atrociously high capacity . these are fakes obviously. if u can have 2000 mah battery in that size, then why havent HTC themselves have not done it? or samsung or even Apple

Thanks

I have used the yoo bao 2200 mah battery and the anker 1300 mah battery . Both for HD7 phone

The yoo bao battery lasts significantly longer, about 100 % more but its thicker ( 2x the size of original HTC battery) and needs the supplied battery cover

http://www.obostore.com/2200mah-yoobao-extended-battery-for-htc-hd7-p-705.html

the anker 1300 mah battery also lasts slightly longer giving 15-20 % more. But it is the same size as the original battery .

http://www.amazon.com/Anker-1300mAh-Li-ion-Battery-Schubert/sim/B005Q6VZFC/2

So get either of these and u should be fine.

I am now on the yoo bao battery and it does last me 2 full days with heavy usage
