[Q] How to unbrick galaxy ace

basha: was your galaxy mini rooted? If it wasn’t I understand why your phone is dead.

Anybody else? Did you manage to unlock your mini with this tool?

My phone was rooted and i followed the procedure carefully as instructed. I run the application but it did not show a code so i pressed ok to exit and run the application again hoping i can get a code once i press see sim unlock code. still there is no code so i just pressed ok to exit. now when i turned it off and tried to turn it back on it will not reboot anymore my phone just keeps on flashing it will not turn on. Can you please help me what to do?…

1. turn of device
2. press power button + home button
3. run Factory Reset

I reflashed the phone with android froyo using odin multi downloader and passed. but the phone still wont turn on it will just keep on flashing. I tried your procedure by pressing power+home button but factory reset did not appear, so it did not work. i read the thread at XDA and the 2 procedures which include this one did not work. im hoping to get a third way out of this from you soon. pls help….
