btw, pawtip, you can mark the Wifi DNS (reported by me) is fixed now, I don't know when it fixed, but around build 5-7, I don't have problem anymore.
I'd like to know if someone has already tryed the new JVZ modem and if it's better of JVT..
Sent from my Ice Cream Sandwich powered GT-I9000 CyanogenMod 9 using XDA Premium OMG Edition
i dont think there is a JVZ modem...JVT is the latest...all new firmwares come with JVT modem including JVZ
If it's a soft-reboot, the logcat is not cleared. If it's a hard reboot, get /proc/last_kmsg instead.
Hi pawitp.
Can you recommend the best modem to use with 3G AIS Thailland?
It will be good if you provide a little guide to install modem as I never install CM7 modem before.
It's a soft reboot, but it's in a loop, and the only way to exit the loop is a hard reboot, so logcat is cleared.
I'll look for last_kmsg, thanks!
DXJV9 is the regional modem, but the default also works fine.

Current build
Last build without the problem
Stock kernel?
Current modem
Any other modification you've made to the ROM.
What were you doing
How often does the problem occur?
Attach a logcat
Attach last_kmsg if it's a random reboot (If it rebooted into recovery, get it while booted into recovery. Also get /proc/cmdline.)
