OP/Changelog

Team Liquid proudly announces our latest and greatest release: Liquid-JB-RC3. After many weeks and hours of hard work and loss of sleep, we finally have a Liquid Jelly Bean release candidate. Many credits go to CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project.

What is included?

Lots of customization features including but not limited to:


  • Lockscreen text color, layouts etc, 5-8 Options
  • Color & Alignment (Clock)
  • Custom Navbar Targets (Up to 7)
  • Custom Navbar Ring Targets (Up to 5)
  • Customizable Colors throughout the Rom
  • Liquid Launcher (Custom with extra options)
  • Liquid Splasher (New Liquid Settings)
  • Theme Chooser

Framework optimizations to enhance performance

Ultra Slim Size: Deodexed, Debloated, Zip-Aligned and Opti-png

Startup script control (sysctl, cron, zipalign etc)

Forced Tablet Mode with DPI Changer

Status Bar Mods - Battery, Clock, Provider Name Changer and more...

Toggles (Both AOKP/CM style)

This project has involved many changes. So, if you don’t see a feature or a credit

Looks very promising, just unlocked/rooted my N7 yesterday, nothing seemed appetizing till I saw this :good:

What does the following entail:
"Forced Tablet Mode with DPI Changer"
can one change between 2 modes from within ROM?

Looks awesome!! I have Liquid ICS 1.5 on my Thunderbolt so its only right that I flash Liquid on my Nexus 7 :)

Ok, installed the ROM (full wipe and couple of reboots) and it's missing some things, gmail, play...etc!!


Edit 1: I see now a zip in 1st post "LIQUID JB GAPPS PACK", I'll check it out!
Edit 2: What do you know, flashing the zip was the solution! looking good.
I see some interesting tweaks in settings....more feedback later

Looking forward to installing this version. I liked it a lot when first released, I can't remember why I ever switched. Too many ROMs and perhaps some A.D.D inspired flashaholism *shrugs* :confused: ;~) Thanks for all of your hard work.

been downloading this for 10 mins and still only got 11mb done???saying one hour left,now at 23:45 and still saying 23 minutes left,anyone else getting these download times

Video error bug

I'm getting a "this video is not authorized for playback on this device", message on certain websites like espn. I swapped out the browser apk with a generic one and still got the same message. Also setting the wifi signal bar color does nothing and adding the kill all apps button doesn't add a button on either regular or tablet mode. I couldn't find a setting to get rid of the Google search bar or a setting to remove the menu button from showing on the home screens so I am using nova launcher for now. Other than that everything is very quick and smooth, browser works better on this rom, I've yet to have it pause while opening websites like I've had on other roms. I like the fact user agent was made available without having to use the about:debug method to access it.

ROM seems pretty good, did find these errors in security I thought I should point out under make visible.

After 3 days of use this is an awsome and reliable ROM with great features/tweaks..... love the inbuilt profiles!
