Hi,

If you're looking for a Stock RUU, OTA or Nandroid backup, perhaps my site can help you.

Please note that the OTA's and Stock TWRP Nandroid backups only cover the S3/C2 version of the phone at the moment. I'd also like to add that I don't personally own a One S, therefore the TWRP backups are offered exactly as they were provided to me (ie. untested).

I'm in the UK with an S3 that i think came from Germany CID_102

A couple of weeks ago i ran the RUU at the top of the RUU list for S3.

Can i use the OTA at the top of the following list for stock JB?

May i ask if what is the specific RUU for my phone? Mine is the international version, unbranded, CID_405. Thanks guys.

Can I ask, if we have SuperCID will running the JB RUU also brick my phone? Because I am well aware of the fact that running the JB OTA with super CID will brick it!

I don't see any reason why not, but it might be worth doing some research in other threads based on the previous post by KACE321. I don't have a One S, so I can't speak from experience with this device.

I believe CID HTC__405 should work with x.xx.401.x RUU's.

Why would you risk it? I went back to HTC_001 and ran ruu no problem I'm staying on HTC_001 feel safer

Can you help me?

So I unlocked rooted and changed my cid.
Now i changed my cid to HTC__001 with 2 underscores..
Now thats right isnt it?
The reason i am asking is I have run that jb RUU 5 times now after cid to HTC__001
and it keeps saying signature error and rebooting.
I am on the newest tmobile us 2.35.531.12 710RD 4.1 sense
hboot 1.12
radio 1.13 with s-off
I tried with s-on relocked boot loader factory recovery nothing what do i need to do to get the JB rom you have here to work for me?

I also need some help. I installed twrp recovery and now each time i try to do OTA update it kicks me int twrp recovery and i cannot install.

Is there any way to install stock recovery or anyhow install JB

Please help.

You can find your stock recovery here. http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=32069130 Or what you can do is copy the ota zip file to your computer and uncompress it. then flash the recovery.img file by typing. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
with your phone plugged in and in fastboot.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

At the link there is stock recovery for HTC S one s4 version, so does not work on me.
And I tried to take out file named recovery.img from OTA file and flashed it but it seems that it is not recovery>

Any ideas? thanks

you extracted the files inside of firmware.zip file from inside of it? Cause that was the exact file that I used to get recovery on my phone.

yes. can u tell me which way you tried to install on the phone?

also does bootloader need to be locked?

Bootloader should be unlocked first by going to htcdev and unlocking it. You can use the all in one toolkit to do that. You can use the flash recovery from in there and select the recovery.img file.
