Hi there,

I have recently received a HTC HD2 from a user to see if I can fix it for her. The phone is stuck on the HTC screen logo screen, I can however get to the boot loader but it is not giving me any option to Hard reset or choose the installer from SD card it seems that everything has been wiped from the phone.

I am not sure which steps to take to try and reinstate the old Win 6.5 operating system again and I do not see any link for South Africa on the HTC site to try and download the ROM by Serial Number.

Hard reset >
While phone is Off
Hold Volume up + Volume down & press power button
< If that does not help read on ...
Link below is for standard WM6.5 South Africa ROM:

You can always find most ROMs in the HD2 Wiki & also has a lot of useful info & link so worth a visit & some time spent looking through it:

You can try flash from PC viaUSB cable, you will need active sync 4.5 software (xp) or WMDC 6.1 (Vista/W7) so to have correct drivers to flash, all can be found in HD2 Wiki > http://xdaforums.com/wiki/HTC_HD2#Software_.26_Games
If that no good review SD flashing again & read SD flashing tutorial below:

Good luck ...
