Installing rom on phone

Hello, i have an htc one with network problems and wish to reload stock ROM on it....can someone explain how to do it? Do i need to unlock bootloader and root the phone first, i know how to do that? Also, where to get latest ROM from? ALso i wish to format the phone and then load the ROM, can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Sure with the right info
We need whats on your bootloader screen and the results from fastboot getvar all ... if you don't know what i'm talking about use google

Please enter into Bootloader and tell us what status you see? LOCKED/RELOCKED/UNLOCKED?

Do you mean unlock bootloader....then no, i just need to install rom on this phone through recovery. Do i need to unlock bootloder and root it first. And please tell me where to find latest ROM for this phone and how to install it? Thanks


Is the OS booting up correctly you can use it?
If yes you don't need to something else it's STOCK.

Yes im trying to solve network problems by flashing again stock rom...pls just tell me how to do it and where to get ROM from?

So if you're stock try a factory reset or hard reset, it would be the easiest way.
If don't try to get updates, you're in 4.1.2 as shown in the getvar

Why is everyone asking me questions when im constantly saying just tell me which stock ROM to flash???
Because if you're already on a stock ROM and locked, there is not much you can do safely.
Factory reset is the same as flashing again the stock ROM as far as I know. Maybe you can try reflashing the radio but i doubt it will solve your problem.

And if you have issues, it's not a good idea to unlock the phone to flash any ROM.
