Combining every forum was a bad idea, IMO

I totally agree and I really don't understand what the moderators are trying to do except to alienate some users.
Why for example is the KitKat thread covering both 9500 and 9505 devices, wouldn't it be better to separate them?
What are you expecting to happen as a result of this thread? Or did you just want to complain in public?
Yes you are missing something, everything didn't get thrown into one forum - there are separate ones for the i9500, i9505, i9506 and the GE version....theres a dev section, an original dev section, a q&a section and one for apps/themes...what more do you want?
