[Q] 700 MHz band

So, I just read that the DoJ signed off on the deal for T-Mobile to buy Verizon's 700 MHz band. I looked up the Nexus 5 specs and it seems like it doesn't actually support that frequency. It would make sense since the N5 doesn't work on Verizon's network. Does this mean though that whenever T-Mobile gets to implementing the bands, N5 owners won't be able to use them?

EDIT: I'm actually not sure anymore, I just checked gsmarena and they say that it does have the 700 band. Anyone know?

Wont support it as of today there are no phones on T-Mobile that support that 700Mhz Band

CDMA:
800, 1900 MHz
GSM:
850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
UMTS:
800, 850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz
FDD LTE:
800 (band 20), 850 (band 5), 900 (band 8), 1800 (band 3), 2100 (band 1), 2600 (band 7) MHz
Data:
LTE, HSDPA+ (4G) 42.2 Mbit/s, HSUPA 5.76 Mbit/s, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS

Oh really? Damn, that's disappointing. I found this on gsmarena so I thought there might be a chance "LTE 700 / 800 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 - North America version"

Nexus 5 supports LTE band 17, but not band 13. So it depends which block of 700 MHz is used. Thats why people on the verizon side of the Nexus a very few of them can pickup the signals because in that particular market they use band 17 where as major verizon markets use band 13**

** Band numbers may not be correct but you get the point :)

read this about the differences b/w 700mhz bands 12 (t-mobile bought) and 17 (which nexus 5 supports), 12 and 17 overlap, and the problems and screwups along the way

that saying, there is no way to convert a phone that supports band 17 to 12 after manufacture (you can do it before manufacturing by modifying a few filters and other stuff since the two bands overlap)
