Hi!

NOW WORKS FOR FIRMWARE VERSION 11.3.A.2.33

I just thought I'll share the method I used to root my Xperia E C1505!

I do not take any responsibility if anything happens to your device.

Proceed at your own risk!

Requirements:
Sony Xperia E (Locked Bootloader)
Flashtool: http://www.flashtool.net/index.php
FTF FILES TO FLASH (Download both of the these and put them into \Flashtool\firmwares folder)
File 1: http://www.mediafire.com/download/psav7wq4yywz7xo/11.3.A.0.47.ftf
File 2: http://www.4shared.com/file/NLAKKZQ-/Xperia_E__C1505__113A223_Unbra.html?
Framaroot APK: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2130276 (DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION)

After you have got all the files we can begin!

1) Open up flashtool and click the lightning icon and select Flashmode and the Following:
C1505 11.3.A.0.47 (Untick DATA AND CACHE) (TICK EVERYTHING EXCEPT KERNAL IN THE EXCLUDE SECTION)
2) Click on Flash and turn off your xperia e, after your xperia e has turned off plug in the usb cable while holding the volume down key.
3) Flashtool will begin to flash, after the flash has completed remove the usb cable and power on your xperia e. (WIFI WILL NOT WORK).
4) Once your xperia e has fully booted up, go back onto flashtool and select the ARROW Icon and browse for the Framaroot APK & Install.
5) Once the Framaroot APK has been installed open it up and click on GANDALF, it should come up with sucess and now reboot your xperia e.
6) After the reboot go back to flashtool and click on the lightning icon, select Flashmode and the Following:
C1505 11.3.A.2.23 (Untick DATA AND CACHE) (TICK EVERYTHING EXCEPT KERNAL IN THE EXCLUDE SECTION)
7) It will begin to Flash and you will have root on latest version with everything working.

ENJOY! DONT JUST SAY THANKS CLICK IT!

Why is the ARROW Icon in my flashtool unclickable? It is gray, not black like the BOLT Icon.

Arrow icon is for isntalling apks.
Go to phone settings, developer options>enable usb debugging and then security>Allow installation from unknown sources, and then connect phone to usb.

but I have those options on in the Xperia and the flashtool still doesn't recognize the debugging as on.
I have installed Sony PC Companion because I read somewhere that the drivers would be fully intalled byy this program but the problem remains the same

Do you have advanced options enabled in Flashtool?

Succes!

Have a nice day!

I have advanced options enabled but that doesn't change a thing. I will send you a print of my screen...

I took a sreenshot of my Xperia E showing the Usb debugging on (I also have thicked the "Allow installation from unknown sources"), but if you look at the log in the flashtool it says device connected without usb debugging...

I'm having the same issue as the guy above me. I've put both the ftf files in the firmware folder, but when I start up flashtool, the 11.3.A.0.47.ftf file doesn't show up. Ive attached a screen of whats happening.
    Can someone help??

Yep. I can :p. It's my bad, the files I uploaded are corrupted. I have deleted them and uploaded a working one, here are two links:

cant we just use cydia impactor? it worked for me ... i have c1504.....sorry if its a noob question......

Cydia impactor works only for 11.3.A.2.13, and not for 11.3.A.2.23. So this the only method I know about to root 11.3.A.2.23!

    Sent by magic!
