Advice please

I changed to CW using CTRv2.2 and now I cant get into recovery mode, it stalls on the boot screen.
Am I correct in believing that my stock recovery is now gone?

I was told that I need to unpack both the stock recovery and the cw-recovery and compare to see whats missing.
I haven't a clue how to do this though...

Any advice would be appreciated.

Its a Star Note 3 MTK6592. Its a Chinese copy of the Samsung note 3.
