Motorola recently released a brand new Android Starter Phone (Released 2012, February), the Motorola Defy Mini (XT320). Motorola fixed most of the loop holes that were used for rooting previous Android Motorola Phones. It also has Bootloader 7, we ask the best developers out there to try anything they can to root this great phone.
Why is this phone so great, well here are the specifications of it:
It is Dust, water and scratch resistant, it has Touch-sensitive controls. TFT capacitive touchscreen, 256K colors, 320 x 480 pixels, 3.2 inches, Multitouch, Corning Gorilla Glass, microSD up to 32GB, 512 MB ROM, 512 MB RAM, 150 MB Internal Memory, the Internal Memory is a very critical topic, it very low and without rooting this device is almost useless because you can't have more then 10 apps on your phone. 3.15 MP Camera, Front Camera, 2048x1536 pixels, LED flash, Android OS v2.3.6, CPU 600 MHz, Accelerometer, proximity, compass, HTML, Adobe Flash, A-GPS.
All these specifications above make it a one of the best and cheapest Android Starter Phones, but as an Android Starter we wish to learn more and experiment with our phones but without full access to our phone that is not possible.
So please help us and sign this petition so that we get the attention of a developer or someone and that someone will hopefully try too help us root our device.

Great News, we have reached 10 signatures, no, 11, well our goal is to reach at least 100 or even more. Tell anyone you know about this petition to come by and sign it, there still is hope to root the Defy Mini, here is some proof, Sagett from El Salvador managed to root his Defy Mini in a very creative way. He used SuperOneClick to root the Defy (NOT DEFY MINI) and when the software waited at the last step to inject the SuperUser into the phone he swapped the Defy with the Defy Mini, here is a video as proof that he has SuperUser acces to his Defy Mini.

He also posted on a forum a tutorial, it is in his language but i managed to translate it for you in English.
