Good evening to all, especially so in Vertigo, this rom is really good, responds well to all controls and changes, the only one I was able to really put 5 buttons on the navbar ..... congratulations indeed!!
I like it so much that I'm taking in spite of all its a bug that is very annoying bug .... the torch.
was not found any solution to this problem?
Then I wanted to ask if you know something about the bug that plagues all CM10.1 the audio playback of videos?

when i am trying to do this it says installation is aborted ...any idea why..i am coming from phoenix 6.5 rom....

Guess what's coming......

This is based on AOKP and to change it to CM base would take a herculean amount of work... Although the camera audio recording is fixed in the new version as I've just tested it myself... Torch also works so no fixes needed there either

Well here we go guys its here

RootBox 4.2.2

From what I can see Bajee11 has been hard at work with RootBox settings as they seem more thorough and a lot better now (Especially Pie settings)... So you will need to go thank him... NOW lol :D

Also Audio recording is fixed and Torch is fixed

If you want photosphere please flash this http://d-h.st/XQm

Now I've only flashed this the way that is described in the OP which is

1. Do all the wipes etc...

2. Flash rom first and let it boot up

3. Then reboot into recovery and flash Gapps

Thats how its worked for me

Now Enjoy it....

are there special new things or just a new base ?

and can i "update" the Rom without wipes :p

i configured the rom almost 1 week for now and with all the wipes all is gone :(

EDIT: worked only with dalvik and cache wiped ^^

You could do an update but with it being a new base I would advise a full wipe as it could cause problems if you don't...

There has been quite a few updates in rootbox settings, its more customizable now

If you can do it in other AOKP ROMs you will be able to do it in this as its based on AOKP and everything in ROM control works as it should

ps. i will test the new rom tomorrow im in train now and its too full and noisy here to test it ^^

sorry m8 I'm getting muddled up with the pacman rom lol I'll try your new version of this rom the only problem I've had with this rom is chrome keeps locking up thanks for all your work here

    Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks.     Recommended Installation Steps

    1. Download RootBox... Duh!!!

    2. Boot into Recovery

    3. Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache & Wipe Dalvik Cache

    4. Flash RootBox update

    5. Restart Phone and let the rom Boot up!

    6. Reboot into Recovery and Flash JB GAPPS

    7. Wipe Cache (Optional)

    8. Wipe Dalvik Cache (Optional)

    9. Reboot

    You really need to follow these instructions...
    Especially the bit about flashing the rom and letting it boot before flashing the gapps...
    because if you don't you will end up in a bootloop... Trust me....

    Per-App Settings


    This guide will help you setup your phone with new Per-App Settings.

    First, all credits associate to Xposed Frameworks and Modules goes to Rovo89 for sharing his work and making it open source for everyone. You guys should all buy him a beer.

    Steps to follow:

    1. Install Xposed Frameworks by going in Modules Management>Install/Update
    2. Enable Per-App Settings by going in Modules Management> Modules>Tick Per-App Settings (You should reboot your phone at this point)
    3. Setup your phone : Per-App Settings>Choose your app>Set DPI/Resolution/Tablet UI/Language> Press Save on top
    4. Your app should now display in your preferred settings. If it doesnt, kill the app and restart it or reboot phone.

    Attach wallpaper in email
    Two sizes are required: HDPI and XHDPI


    I'll review them and add the wallpapers in the next release. I will also choose the best one as the default wallpaper for official releases.

    Bootanimation

    Attach bootanimation or paste download link in the email.
    Two sizes are required: HDPI and XHDPI


    Wallpaper Resolution

    HDPI: 960 x 800
    XHDPI: 1440 x 1280


    You can also contribute by creating icons for settings. Use proper sizes and always include compatibility for HDPI and XHDPI.

    The reason behind this is very simple. I'm always busy and I've neglected the visual aspect of RootBox for a while now. It's time to polish it with new visuals!​

    Well with no disrespect to you, you had better start another thread for the 'Official' rom or take over this one... and I'll either just stop altogether with this project or keep it unofficial and add some extras which the guys are asking for...
