this was a great rom for my pov mobii. Everything worked well.
Until I did updates. The Google maps now has the same problem as other roms where it cause the tablet to reboot. Then the wifi sleep problem started occurring. I'm going to reflash an stay away from the map updates

works really well, I had the wifi sleep problem but resolved it with the wifi lock app suggested in an earlier comment. The only oddity I have now is that not all Widgets appear in the Widgets menu, for example I use titanium backup but I cannot define the Widgets as they are not in the menu. Originally when I first installed the rom they worked for a while but then they stopped, I have tried a different launcher but still have the issue. Could this be the rom causing this?

In case anyone is interested I have worked this out, it was simply because I moved the app to my SD card. Not sure if this a well known issue but the same happened with my galaxy s2. Once the app is moved back the widget option returns.

Yes, this is a well known issue!
Apps that have background processes or widgets require to be on internal storage and not on SD card.
Why?
Simples! When you remove your SD card the widgets and apps that are stored on SD card will disappear. With apps there is not a problem because they just change the icon to default android icon and become unrunnable. Problem arises with widgets and background processes which just stop and crash your tablet and you don't want that to happen. In order to get your tablet into normal state you would have to reboot it.
It would also be a problem if you would have your widgets on a SD card when booting your tablet. All the widgets wouldn't load because they load before your SD card does, and you would be greeted with empty home screens.

Done flash with JellyPad but have continuous bootloop.
Continuous "JellyPad" on screen. It past 20 minute....
I've already done another flash: all ok.
Switch on the tablet and, at the setting page (choose language), reboot.
Nothing; bootloop.
Any idea?

Things to remember when installing:
  • Create the correct partitions and file systems on the SD card before installing
  • Create the partitions and file systems not from CWM, but from a PC
  • Use Ext4 for the INT2EXT+ partition, not Ext2, not Ext3, but Ext4
  • Never ever reuse existing file systems, format newly
  • After first boot reboot the tablet immediately
  • The first and second boot can take a while, don't panic
  • Don't install application link2sd like
  • DO ALL THE STEPS CORRECTLY, DON'T SKIP ANY!

Dear friends,

How to reduce the system.img by means of removal of the unnecessary built-in applications?
I would like to increase memory for user programs.

Thanks.

    ViewCOMB-3.2-Build-5.1-Home-Screen.jpg

    Good day to everyone! :)

This is the most stable ROM that exists for ViewPad 10s. ViewCOMB 3.2 is based on VegaComb 3.2, including all updates. My idea was to adapt VegaComb for ViewPad 10S. I made few cosmetics changes on VegaComb, added some applications, and made some tweaks in kernel. All credits goes to the VegaComb developers. Thanks to Newbe5, Rebel1, Ejtagle, Corvus, Cass67 and all VegaComb developers.

You can try this installation file:

    B6-RC04.exe

Compiled a new boot img with the new offset values.
Many people reported that file works properly (no bootloop).

    Don't count on it...
    It says ....COMB....
Probably just VegaComb with a 'borrowed' ICS theme...

Anyone else smell a rat from tabletroms forum?

    hi
What is the difference between these two : vegacomb 3.2 and viewcomb 3.2 ?

You can write but you can't read?
