[Q] Does Nexus 5 (D820) work in South Korea?

I guess that depends on your meaning of "work" -
UMTS should work and LTE might work depending:

Thanks shotta35! I listed the UMTS and LTE networks in South Korea below. I am still a little confused on how to know if the device will be compatible to any of the carriers in Korea. I am a novice and I really don't understand what "bands", "UMTS", "GSM", etc. are. I see that some "bands" match with the D820 device, but the frequencies seem different (e.g. 2100 UMTS in South Korea). I appreciate your help!

Works great on SK Telecom. I cannot speak to Olleh KT or LG U+.
It even comes with the correct APN settings for SKT prebuilt in.

I can't speak from personal experience, but since the bands match, you definitely would (and it sounds like the correct APNs are there by default).
I can't seem to get it to work on U+ in South Korea. I keep getting a failed registration. When I try to manually input the U+ APN it keeps deleting itself with a T mobile sim. With a U+ SIM, it just won't connect.
