By now, you can add Brodit passive holder: http://brodit.se/product.html?id=511597&pn=prod&brand=Sony&model=Xperia Z1 Compact
In soon you can even by the actvie holder with magnetic charging (see the solution for the Z1). I wrote en email to Brodit and asked for it for the compact, and they wrote quickly back, that it will be available in a few weeks.

I have my Z1C on order and should have in next couple of days. Please post back what youthink of the active holder as I think this is a much better solution than using the MicroUSB for charging.
how good a grip does the active brodit mount have ? Will it stay on if I mounted it on my motorcycle?
I'll going for this since I don't like the retention mechanism of the brodit active holder

I got mine today (but I have in my car) and it most certaily will hold. There is no way it will slip out - unless you are up for very rocky offroad driving..
It is very well fitted.

Has anyone tried one of these from Amazon? :
