mobile network

hello, if anyone could help me, im having trouble with the mobile connection (3g), since i flashe last cm9 build i could not correctly configure my 3g.

im in Argentina using Movistar, and tryed all in baseband switcher, also have correct apn, and config seems right..

any help is thanked

How can I get deep sleep working again?

It hasn't worked for a while now, since at least the March 08 build by Quarx. I'm now on the March 19 build from Eppy. Froyo kernel, red lens, regular Defy.

Someone suggested I disable then re-enable in bootmenu cpu settings, but that didn't seem to help.

Anyone have any suggestions?

actually theres no error, theres been 2 days by now and i cant connect to the 3g, i get no connection at all, i can talk and receive messages but no internet connection (it works with wifi though) u.u

BUGREPORT

Using Quarx build of 120305/120318 on Defy+ (MB526) and CM9 kernel, battery charging is broken: it won’t charge at all.

Applying « Red lens battery fix » makes it charge again, but it will only go up to ~88% (which very very strangely happens to be 1500 / 1700, i.e. Defy battery capacity / Defy+ battery capacity).

I used to have 120305 build + stock kernel that came with my Defy+ and the battery would charge normally (but other things were broken like GPS).

try going to custom recovery (clockworkmod) and in advanced u "have reset battery stats", do it with full battery charge in ur case 88%

toggling the overclock settings in the bootmenu has always worked for me!

Also, try turning off your wifi, and disable any battery saver apps - when I installed one of those (Easy Battery Saver), it prevented my CPU from entering deep sleep - not sure if it's by design, or just an incompatibility with CM9.

I used CPU-Spy to check if deep sleep is working. Battery comsumption seems to be very good with epsylon3 19-03 on defy.

0,2 - 0,3%/h in deep sleep, 2G only.

By "last CM9 build" I guess you mean 1803 by Quarx? If so, then you should know that there is a bug with editing/deleting APN's in this build. If you want to get your 3G working, I'd sugest - do a full wipe, flash Quarx's 0503, set up your phone like you would for a dayly use, then reboot into recovery and without any kind of wipe, just flash 1803 Quarx

Wish it worked for me. I've disabled wifi and gps for hours at a time, and still no deep sleep. Also, no battery saver or task killer apps installed.

Should I save after disabling and then re-enabling in cpu settings under bootmenu?

Well, if it ain't saved it ain't applied. Try to disable, save, reboot, re-enable, save, reboot.

OK, did exactly this and still no deep sleep. Wonder if I should try going back to CM7.x to see if it's working there...

Try Swiping off apps from background and switch off Wifi and Bluetooth as well as Data Sync... Wifi and may be Google Location service as well as few major apps which require constant sync over internet like other Emails at Sync could be letting the device not to enter Deep sleep.

Data sync is active all the time here (for Gmail, contacts, calendar, wifi spots, settings and weather widget) and deep sleep works just fine.
It might be something else.
