(Q) Call recording on CM

Because it is illegal in some countries (and ethically dubious), CM won't include it.
There are ways around this, but you'll have to find out yourself.

Call recording is not in CM because there are not enough resources and/or interest to develop it.
Ethical positions should be left to everyone to choose, and not imposed (with tricks behind the corner).
Also muting the camera shutter is (childishly) illegal in some countries. Nonetheless it's everywhere in a way on another.
You can have call recording and silent camera and still not taking advantage of it. It'd be up to you.
So basically stock d802 ROM (at least the Italian one) is illegal!
