Hmm, I never seen any stock rom that show all day appointments on home

. CHT got its popularity only because of this.

BTW: Can you please share your stock rom so that I can have a look.

on stock rom when i have 2 events on one day, 1 event all day and 1 event with hours for example 10-11 am. on home screen i see all day event and on lock screnn i see event with specific hours.
when i have 1 event i see it on home screen and lock screen. (no matter if it is all day or 10-11 am.)

Ok Thanks for the link. I will download and do a quick test this week end and update you on this. As far I have seen all stock rom (downloaded from UK or India HTC sites) does not show all day events on home screen.

Text size in SMS: There is no modification to the associated stock packages. So I need to check how does it looks like in stock ROM. This will be modified, If there is a possibility to change/modify.
Manila Title: I agree and this will be unified in next version.
Opera Text Size: The Stock Opera has not modified for any text appearance. Any how I will look into this issue.
Video Call: I am not sure if this can be fixed. But will surely discuss with other chefs on this.
Youtube account in Data Service: Will look into this as well. I never tested this yet, but will look into this.

Hi prabhat,

I have to add another small issue. When a mms is received in manila message tab, when I tap on the message in order to display the mms nothing happens, it should open the mms instead...
And still in message tab, only the first 25 messages are shown. Usually manila loads the first 25 messages only, cause memory performance, but when you scroll back all 25 messages manila should then load the older ones, in this rom it doesn't happen.

And regarding videocall issue, plz note also the rotated front facing camera video... Thx.

who wants to scroll by finger more than 25 messages ? it will take years ...
if i want to read older i will go to all messages and find what i need...
this is my opinion

You don't need to scroll all the messages, you need to have the opportunity to scroll some more of 25 messages if you just want to... optional not mandatory, like stock rom after all.
The video of front facing camera is rotated 90° clockwise only in videocall, pay attention to content of posts, thx.

I read a few pages back that some are having trouble with MMS. Mine is actually working fine on the Photon UX v2.2. No problem sending, receiving, or clicking directly into MMS from message notification button. It is a bit unstable with apps running in the background - some lag after the second MMS sent and I had to restart to retrieve the icons at the bottom of the All Messages screen. Ok so far.

I did have similar MMS problems with v2.1 though, and I think I can trace them back to one failed-to-send MMS. It took days to receive the timeout notification. I noticed the unsent MMS still sitting in my Outbox months later when about to restore from PIM Backup after flashing to v2.2 and removed it. Perhaps this might be causing the MMS problem other posters are having?

BTW, is it possible to make the Outbox folder appear under All Messages>Menu?

No it is not dead... Infact I am out of station on my project work and bit busy. Also I do monitor the feedback/comments every day even if I cant reply. I will work on the requests once I am back to my place coming week.

Battery life

For everyone with battery life problems:
I use this ROM for a long time and my battery lives 2 days of my normal use. I consider it good.
Few general tips:
1) Always install ROM with battery at 100%.
2) After installing new ROM allow 2 weeks for battery controller to stabilize before posting battery life problems.
3) Battery controller will stabilize faster if you fully charge and fully discharge the battery 2 times. (Fully discharge = phone can't turn on)
4) Recalibrate your battery once a year - Fully charge, fully discharge, fully charge when phone is OFF.
5) Turning 3G off will grant you 10-30% more battery life.
6) Turn on automatic brightness control.

100% agree with ilyadan. For my usage (no 3G though) I get most of my battery with this ROM.
- Daily several calls, few min browsing and updating weather in Edge/GPRS and WiFi in Office for emails.

Info: Windows Marketplace for Mobile 6.x Discontinuation Notice

Finally Microsoft gave the Notice.
Any how Photon ROM does not have this App any more. Still this info is for the users those are still using Market Place App as a Cab Installer.

Windows Mobile 6.x Marketplace Service To Be Discontinued

Beginning May 9, 2012, the Windows Mobile 6.x Marketplace service will no longer be available. Starting on this date, you will no longer be able to browse, buy or download applications directly on your Windows Mobile 6.x phone using the Windows Mobile 6.x Marketplace application and service.

Applications and games acquired from the Windows Mobile 6.x Marketplace service installed on your Windows Mobile 6.x phone will continue to work after the service is discontinued on May 9, 2012. However, additional downloads of these applications and games from the Windows Mobile 6.x Marketplace service will no longer be available.

Hello Friends, Sorry for all delay for the reply and thanks for all your patience. But I was bit stuck with my project work so was not able to do any work on ROM. And today I got some free time and was bale to verify some stuffs... so replying those:

6) local video coming from front facing camera is rotated 90° clockwise, and it's rotated both locally and as seen by the other caller -almost impossible to use videocall
7) it's impossible to add youtube account in data service of Sense. User-pass is correct but it doesn't enable the service, the slider remains on off.

Prabhat can you fix this?

1) Validated this and found latest WinMo builds does have this. So nothing to do from my side to hex modify. I will try to talk to other Chefs to see if that is possible.
2) Same as above.
3) Fixed now, will be release in next Standard ROM Build.
4) As I said earlier to your reply, this was not modified by me and is the stock behavior. I will try to modify this.
5) & 6): I need some help here to modify the DLLs as non of the available 3G canvas is working the way it should work I think. If you know any, do let me know so that I can try that canvas as well

7) Verified this with Stock ROM from HTC and found same behavior.

I am working on various SIM from different provider here to see if this is working.

Hi,

I have downloaded this ROM and validated and found it is same as all other ROM and NO ALL Day event is shown on Home. See attached. #1 Home screen shows only specific appointment that has time duration, while #2 you can see I have a ALL Day event for the same day bit that does not shows. Same in Lock screen #3 as well.

So my Standard ROM also does the same. You can switch to UX Edition of my ROM to get what you want

. Also the UX edition is built over Standard ROM.

Stock ROM and My Standard ROM also allow scrolling only 25 messages ONLY. We need to goto ALL messages to view all. The HTC Stock or My Standard ROM does not allow scrolling more than 25 messages if we want from Manila UI. Let me know If I miss-understood of your question.

Thanks netrial for you input/feedback. I am not sure if this has helped anyone using UX ROM W/O HTC Messaging + MMS Client.

Reg. Outbox Folder:: By default the threaded view (Conversation Mode) of messages does include ALL messages. That is the reason there is no option to go to other folders, except deleted folder. You can use Traditional Mode (All Messages - Menu - Settings - Traditional Mode) so that you can see all messages within their folder

Hi for me I get the best of the battery life from my regular UX ROM. And as UX is built on Standard so Standard is much better. You may have to follow instructions from ilyadan and check the usage that you dont actually need.

Hi pidrik, Which edition you are using? To my knowledge all edition lock screens are working fine. You may have to check the lock screen after the ROM flash. May be some other application is conflicting
