Some words about today's version 18/8

We're going to try to have a decent stable aokp/jb base to work with:

- Since someone reported flashing problems on previous builds i reverted a symlink to /emmc.

- We're going to test the new teamhacksung kernel https://github.com/teamhacksung/android_kernel_samsung_smdk4210_new

Please report any problems/issues and keep in mind that I'm doing this to experiment and learn.

I had no problems flashing it, but I'm using it as secondary rom with Siyah Kernel 3.5.2

Yes, becouse when you use it as 2nd rom Siyah kernel will use its own updater-script.

Since I DONT want to use Aroma-installer as everyone now I'm trying to figure out where the issue is.

If somebody wants to help.. I'm here

Okay so just minutes before your last alarm call, I soft bricked my phone. Hate being a noob, but I can't get it in recovery anymore.

What do you suggest Pier? I immediately flashed this rom, since all you previous work just seems 100% reliable

Edit: nevermind, fixed it through Odin. Start from scratch now.

Same thing happened to me and Pier helped me out on IRC. Basically you need to get yourself Odin or Heimdall and flash the latest Siyah kernel (S2-v4.1beta6). Its pretty simple and safe.

Ah ok,

Forgot to mention that in spite of being flashed as secondary rom it is the rom I'm currently using everyday (primary rom is your ICS AOKP).
