Poetic CoverMate Case for Kindle Fire HD

I am sure you have seen my reviews for the Poetic Hardback and Poetic Slimbook cases that I recently posted. After interacting with Poetic, they were kind enough to send me their new Kindle Fire HD case called the Poetic CoverMate. The case is available in three distinct styles. Now for those of you that do not want the added bulk of a case on your Kindle Fire HD, this is the case for you. The case is as slim in profile as is the actual case offered by Amazon for 44.99. In fact it upstages the original Amazon case by not only offering the exact same fit and function, but by incorporating some fantastic designs onto its covers. The Poetic CoverMate comes with the Automatic Sleep and Wake feature which allows your Kindle Fire HD to be awakened by lifting the cover open and put to sleep by shutting the cover. The Kindle Fire HD when inserted into the case is completely flush with the case, so it actually inserts into the case and there is nothing holding it over the top of the screen, absolutely no screen obstruction. The back of the case is a very hard rubberized poly-carbonate material while the front of the case features a polyurethane cover. Not only will this provide protection for your device, but the rubberized surface feels silky soft and adds some grip to the case, especially needed if you are holding the device for a prolonged time and are prone to sweaty hands. The back of the case also features cut outs in both locations for the speakers. I notice no discernable difference in sound with the case on my Fire HD or with the case off of the Fire HD.There is also a cutout on the back of the case to allow you to turn the case into a stand. An elastic strap is also located on the rear cover that allows you to hold your device closed when the cover is over the screen.
There are cutouts located on the case in all the necessary locations. The Poetic CoverMate contains cutouts that allow you to charge your device with the case closed, the mini USB and mini HDMI are fully accessible. Also there is nothing obstructing the power button nor the physical volume buttons on the Kindle Fire HD. This is the slimmest case available for the Kindle Fire HD up to this point. The materials used in making this case are high quality as well. Please take the time to look through the pictures I have posted below as well as my video review. All of my devices in my home have had Poetic cases on them for the past 3 years, and to this date I still have not had to replace any of them.
