This is only for the myTouch Slide 4G.

Thanks to Blue6IX, he made the process really easy for me!

It's extremely easy for you to use-- just install as a regular apk and that's it! I've done my best not to include any apps that could be potentially harmful, but just be careful anyways :).

Some screenies:

And this is what it looks like on the Sensation with icons (it looks a lot better! and will eventually look like this maybe):

I had to take these on my Vibrant so none of them are installed for me, but it should automatically detect whether or not they're installed on your phones.

ATL shawty!
Great work! Works great!

You CAN do this with root explorer. But as all good devs do, Roman has made this ten times easier! Lovely work.

This app is awesome, great piece of work!

You took everything we learned and made an app to streamline what the majority of people were using that knowledge for.

Love the app, love the interface, simple is always better and really attracts me to the app aesthetically.

I think this is going to make a whole lot of people's lives much easier.

Worked like a charm on Bulletproof. Gives me control of what I do and do not want. Ended up removing almost everything that was considered bloatware anyways, but still nice to have the ability to keep (or reinstall) what I want.

Root explorer does the same thing.

Ok let me sit in my chair to read your explaination on how root Explorer downloads apps and install them by itself. Or is there any hidden option that has a list of apps you can choose from to download? If so, Let me know, Im interested in knowing.

Bloater has now been fully updated for the myTouch 4G Slide.

Also, Bloater now uninstalls or re-installs complimenting widget or other supporting software if an app has it.

That means if you uninstall the Calendar, for example, it'll uninstall the calendar widget along with it. If you re-install the calendar, it'll install the widget again with it.

*Note: after installing or uninstalling a bunch of apps, a reboot of the phone is recommended.

*Note 2: Sometimes you can get a force close of a process, like the market or fusion for example, while uninstalling apps. Don't worry about it and keep doing your thing.

When you are done in Bloater, simply reboot your phone if one of those force-closes of an outside process happens. You'll be fine after that.

Much thanks from the doubleshot community to Romanbb for this masterpiece of user-level Bloat management.

    Download Bloater Here.

Xda app doesn't tell me what the post numbers are in the thread, so I copied the link forward.

It's a few posts back, maybe a page or so, I listed the apps it supports.

I'll check back next chance I get - make sure to uninstall the old version first.

    New Categories!!!! Widgets!!!!

Now you can install or uninstall widgets individually!

Also added the 'Get More' widgets!

*Note: Installing a widget without an app it may need will not cause a problem, but it just won't work until the app is installed.

*Note 2: Now you can keep an app, but uninstall just it's widget if you like!

    --------

Don't forget - installing or uninstalling apps or widgets may give you a splash screen when done. Nothing to worry about - but if you are concerned simply reboot your phone and it'll all be fine!

    --------

If anyone finds anything not working, please let me know and i'll take care of it!

    Thanks ~ !

( I realize there are some duplicate entries of single widgets in the old list I haven't removed yet - but I just noticed and i'm exhausted. I'll take care of it on sunday night/monday morning when I get back here )
