It is very easy to compile a rom from source.
Thats not my problem here. I have compiled it long ago.
The only thing is that this build needs some specific patches to boot.
And also the thing is that these patches have some bugs. Only 2 patches are Verified till now.
If you want to use port (rom made for other device), then I am not here to stop.
Port will have "zero" but no, it is not made for your device!!
And yeah, I applied the patches yesterday, built it today and now yet to test!
NOTE: The work is under progress. Though it was compiled successfully, need to test whether it boots up properly. If it boots, please inform so that I can move this to development section.
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KITKAT), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
