Here's another thread, since I was so kindly contacted the first time (not) about a 'placeholder'.

A few things to note before downloading and flashing this ROM.
-You MUST be on an updated bootloader for this to boot. If you're not, it will NOT boot.
-This coincides with the above, but you need to also be on a 4.4 compatible recovery such as TWRP or Philz CWM.
-I have removed Knox so I suppose this is no longer a Stock Rooted, but more like Stockish Rooted. :D

DOWNLOAD HERE
FULL ROM:
Odex:
Sprint Touchwiz KitKat 4.4.4 N900PVPUDNH7

Try this:
Due to "securestorage" being set to true in build.prop, changes to the ROM or kernel that aren't reflected in the ss_id file in /system/etc/secure_storage/.system.bin.wpa_supplicant/ can cause issues with WiFi among other things. You can set this to false yourself, or simply flash the zip file below.
Download: Set Secure Storage to False

For those that prefer to do it manually, simply change this line ro.securestorage.support=true to false in /system/build.prop.

Is there still an issue using TB and Knox? Just curious, thanks

Sent from my high priced pay phone across the street from the liquor store.

Yup, the TB team will have to provide a workaround. Or maybe If we can set selinux to permissive without having to have a custom kernel or something.

The workaround found here works too, just kind of annoying to have to do all the time.

Stock Bugs?

Will this have the StockROM bugs aswell? the Developer option (transition animation) and Camera bug (front facing camera beauty mode).

Thanks for the ROM!:good:

Ya I agree on the annoying part. I was just having wishful thinking and hoping on a ROM level it could be worked around. Then I was thinking hellllo its security embedded in the phone like the NSA is to the Govt. Just wish it wasn't around lol. Thanks for the Deodexed!:good:

haha, well i mean... I won't say it's impossible to do ROM side, but since this is only a Stock ROM, I didn't change anything. Now that this is uploaded, I can start tinkering with the ROM and figure things out!

I assume so. Since nothing is changed from stock besides the DeOdex part. But I will be ripping this thing apart now.

lol ya I am in the same boat. However I did DL the Odex version in record time lol.

Dunno, but I am stuck downloading it offa verizon 4g (gotta love unlimited data). Getting spikes between 17kbs to 127. Looking upwards of an hour to get this first rom. But great note that I am rooted and TWRP'd. Now to rom and get rid of bloatware.
Speaking of which, wtb debloated odexed rom. That would honestly set my ship until jedi or any other developers look towards us.

What were your flashing steps? Did you make sure the MD5 matched?

I test flashed both of them with success.

I just flashed as zip file from OUDHS CWM Recovery SM-N900P 1.0.3.6

I did not check the md5, but I'm downloading the other zip file this time, see if that works.

checked md5 on odex file, and it matched...flashed it twice.

Same deal with the deodexed file...md5 matches on both. what should I do? Any suggestions?

What I've done so far is flash over team win recovery, and flashed this from there. now instead of bootlooping. I'm getting to the yellow Sprint logo, and it's stopping there.

pulsing blue light.

Same with odex and deodex.

Are the MD5's matching? Also is the size of the file 1.3gbs? I had a download stop and fail causing that kind of issue.
